Valkyria Chronicles Question

Question: If a character dies in battle, do you lose them forever?

Like how does dying work? Can you revive? Thanks

Depends. When a character dies on the field his body stays wherever he lost HP. If an enemy unit touches the body or three turns passes, the character will die forever. If your own unit "rescues" him by touching his body, then the medic comes and saves him and he will be back in your roster and can even be called to fight during the same fight he died in. Also, some characters can't die like Alicia, largo, and rosie

Just move one of your other character near the dying ones and a medic will appear to medievac it. You have three turns to do so or before the enemy walk over them. Or if you can finish the map before the three turn is up it also revive them.

You can revive characters by approaching them with another friendly unit. they will be sent back to your reserves list after 1 or 2 turns. if however they are approached by an enemy character they die in battle and can not be reused.
