Psychonauts User Review
The moment you enter the world of psychonauts you'll realise that this is one of the best platformers out there.

- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Innovative"
The Story :
Psychonauts is based on the exploits of Raz, a young boy gifted with psychic abilities who runs away from the circus to try to sneak into a summer camp for those with similar powers in order to become a "Psychonaut"
The Sights & Sounds :
The art direction of Psychonauts is amazing, its not your typical 3D character models as the world of psychonauts has a different edge to it all, from the characters which are memorable to locations and level designs, they're hands down one of the best out there while being backed up by an amazing voice over cast that makes each character perfect. The background music too blends in so well that its if as it was ment to be.
The Gameplay :
From walking into the twisted minds of the various characters to the location of the camp around you, the level design is awesome. No two places look the same, and repetition is a thing of the past.Your character starts with just a few psychic mele attacks but as you progress you get a wide variety of psychic powers at your desposal. The level designs are such that you'll be forced to use different psychic powers throughout so you wont be just playing around with a few. The game is filled with alot of collectables and exploration is a must and very rewarding. While you play each level, you'll never feel a sense of repetition thanks to the well balanced level designs and fun boss fights. The game also features one of the best platforming experiences ever.
The Verdict : Apart from a few bugs and a few crashes, Psychonauts isnt a game to be missed, and if you're a fan of crazy art, quirky characters and out of the world locales, psychonauts is just the game for you.

Psychonauts offers a bizarre yet wonderful adventure, as well as some of the most hilarious writing seen in video games.

Psychonauts finds, in the twisted human mind, the perfect flourishing grounds for the wackiness of the platforming genre
