Pure.. is not like most racing games released these days..It's all about realism lately... But pure takes that and throws it out of the window, in pure you will fly around tracks get big air and use some excellent customization tools.
When you start off in pure you must make an ATV... now most games is pretty slider style picking a body kit and a few other things... No.. on Pure you build an ATV, and when I say build I mean build.. You choose everything from engine to hand guards. Although these tools can be a bit simple at some times it is still amazing to see your ride come together.
World Tour is where the game shines... It's repetitive there are only 3 game types, but the tracks have so much variety and unbelivably fun jumps you will stay interested for the entirety of the tour. You start off having to complete a few tasks for the Burnout Paradise esque commentator, once these are done you are free to start on your events.. You start with 4 tracks to an event.. There are 10 events with 4 - 6 tracks.
Now although it will always remain unbelievably fun blasting around tracks.. It gets difficult really fast, almost to a point where you can't continue.. But luckily with the steady unlocks of new parts for your ATVs you can build a bike for every situation, helping you through the tough times.
Graphically Pure looks amazing with dirt splattering up your rider if you choose not to add mud flaps to the back of your ATV.. Of course the enviroments are stellar, made carefully to get every detail of the shadows from tree canopies.
The game isn't all too long but the difficulty should bump up your time spent with it, collecting all parts of the Atv so you can go to the fantastic online which utilizes all of the single players strengths.
Pure is a fantastic game which is worth the full retail price, it has some hic ups with difficulty repetition but the pros outnumber the cons in a fantastic way.
Pros
+Excellent Soundtrack
+In depth customization
+Amazing Tracks
+Graphics are immense
+A real sense of speed
+Completely stupid unrealistic and fun
+Genuinley breathtaking at some points
+Quite a nice length
Cons
-Can be rather repetitive
-Is very hard at some points
-Tango

Pure's limited scope isn't enough to stop the action packed races and beautiful environments in this great racer.

Surprisingly good considering this is out of Disney's usual realm.
