- "Just plain fun"
Quantum Conundrum brings the puzzle-ing gender games to a whole new level of fun.The game presents a satisfying number of innovative puzzles combined with animated (painting like) visuals.
THE GAME-PLAY is rather simple you have a set of moving keys the look around ever present mouse of course and a set of buttons that trigger a gadget within a glove that shifts into different dimensions named Inter-dimensional shift (IDS) device and finally an action button for pulling levers pushing buttons and other stuff.
THE STORY is somewhat weak and doesn't offer a complex narrative or a detailed background of the few characters it has not even about the main character. You take the place of professor Quadwrangle's twelve years old nephew visiting his uncle at his manor. The professor gets trapped in a different dimension as a result of an accident during one of his experiments.Meanwhile you get dropped at the manor and since the house is in lock-down because of the failed experiment it is your job to search and rescue your uncle as you use the glove to progress through the house.
THE GOOD characteristics of Quantum Conundrum would be the smart and original puzzles, the dynamic game-play the lovely visuals that offers a sensation of fun.
THE BAD characteristics of Quantum Conundrum are the simplicity of the puzzles and poor rewarding for solving them, although there are some challenging ones that require your reflexive aptitudes rather than your thinking ones, the bad placement of the "dimensional buttons" makes some timed puzzles be a bit confusing while getting to the button that you actually need which can be frustrating, also if you are looking for a good story Quantum Conundrum is not the game to be.
In CONCLUSION I could say that it has a very original setting good artwork, exceptionally fun game-play all in one package that will definitely make your money-worth.

Imagine having Sheldon Cooper as your uncle. The result; a disastrous and humouring scenario to keep you occupied.

Quantum Conundrum's strong core shines through, even in spite of some very rough edges.

As much as I wanted to like it, it just wasn't fun.
