Deadlocked provides a great R&C story, fun co-op, childish humor, and an arsenal of upgradable weapons!

Ratchet & Clank is a great series of games. In Deadlocked, you play only as Ratchet in the main story, with Clank and Al assisting you on the side. The story is, Ratchet has been kidnapped and forced to play in an underground television combat sport known as "DreadZone". It's basically a fight for survival, and whoever wins keeps advancing until you die. Ratchet, Clank, and Al must find a way to escape while Ratchet advances through DreadZone to stall for Clank and Al. It is all on Ratchet to make sure Clank and Al stay alive. And with collars secured around their necks that moniter their every move, they have to be as cautious as possible. And those collars can be detonated at the push of a button, killing the person who is wearing it, instantly.
Now, with such a great story, the gameplay is top-notch as well. You can choose from quite a variety of weapons, and use any of them you like to blow enemies away. And you can add many modifications to the weapons that make the bullets inside of them have acid or freezing abilities, you name it. There are various special modifications you can make to your weapons, from how fast it shoots to how much ammo it can hold.
Now, you don't think Ratchet would fight by himself, would you? Yeah, well, you probably would if you haven't played this game before. But, anyways, Ratchet has to battle-bots who assist him in any way they can on the battlefield. They can wrap forcefields around you, provide covering fire, you name it!
Not only does this game provide a great story, gameplay, and graphics, but it also supplies quite a bit of childish humor that you're sure to laugh at. Especially the DreadZone announcers, Dallas and Juanita. They say various things that will make you laugh while enjoying a great game!
You've got everything you would want in a video game: Great story, solid gameplay, good graphics, different challenges, upgradable weapons, co-op mode, and humor! What more could you want?

The fact that the game was repetitive and didn't allow you to have Clank watching your back was a real turn off...
