    In Undead Nightmare, the woman says something like "They worshipped the moon and the brave one killed them all."

    John says "Thats what Jack was!"

    What does THAT mean?!?

    What are they saying "Jack was"?

    There is an ellipsis at the end. "That's what Jack was..." In the opening cinematic, Jack is telling John a story that serves as the basis for the mythology behind the Undead Nightmare plot. I don't remember exactly, but John zones out a little during the story's climax and the game ends where that story ends.
