I never could get too into the story until the end of the game which made some of the missions drag since you had to ride to every single location on horses that were all pretty similar. The missions also seemed a bit repetitive. I would have to play a mini game or two after a couple of missions to keep myself entertained. Although some of the characters you come across during the game are pretty funny and they keep the story alive.
The western environment though looks amazing. I always felt tempted just to get off my horse and go hunting or shoot up a small town. There are also plenty of different looking environments to explore and different wildlife to hunt.
The versus mode is nothing special, but of course the co op modes are always fun, and its always a good time to screw around in free roam.
Overall this game was good fun, but didn't have what I was looking for when it came to a good story and an entertaining campaign.
