How to select scenarios?

Ok i recently bought the n64 version of Resident evil 2 used and i made a leon file today but how do you change scenarios? When i press new game it says normal and randomizer so i pick normal but i just makes it A but i checked the files and there are some leon A and B and some claire A and B plus randomizer is unlocked so how do i change scenarios for leon and claire?

After the ranking screen when you beat the game on your first character's A scenario, you are able to play the other's B scenario and experience the events from their perspective; i.e. Leon A is followed by Clarie B and Clarie A is followed by Leon B.
