As far as survival horror games go, Resident Evil 2 is almost perfect.

The n64 version Resident Evil 2 was an amazing port, with a few nice additions.

Resident Evil's Nintendo debut is awesome and this game is quite an achivement for the N64 as well.

There is a set of classics for the N64. Resident Evil 2 is one of those classics.
