Whoever is saying that this topic isn't worthy of a sticky: grow up. Barely anyone reads the FAQs section. This sticky is indeed helpful considering I haven't seen a topic asking about infinite ammo for awhile now. There are tons of topics on the first page, so seeing one topic that is stickied won't hurt you. And if it does, seriously get over it.
Also, if this topic wasn't worthy of a sticky then it wouldn't have gotten stickied. Good job on the sticky, TC. You gave a considerably detailed description pertaining to the subject and questions that tons of people constantly ask.

if you beat the game using split screen co-op, andm have a gun fully upgraded for the second player, can they have infinite ammo when starting a new game?

How to unlock it is somewhat wrong. You must buy IA for a gun before the option to turn it on becomes unlocked. (after beating the game still of course)

we have it bought anmd turned on, and it works for player one, but not player two. consequently, when we change the outfits, it only applies to player one as well. Keep in mind this is splitscreen. Any suggestions.

This is a little redundant. There's no point in infinite ammo anyways if you have no guns available to use it to begin with...

In Lemur h's stickied topic he wrote how you had to host the game till the end of the game to unlock infinite ammo. Well i have played as a guest till the end and to my dissapointment my partner gets infinite ammo and i didnt. I had a look a Lemur's topic and got even more frustated as it told me i had to host to get infinite ammo.
So i switch my profile onto controller one and to my suprise i could also buy infinite ammo just as my partner had done just before. I realised this contradicted what Lemur had wrote, so i made this to help others.

Or 2nd player just doesn't sign onto a GameTag and plays with Inf ammo on whatever gun Player 1 gives him/her.
