the predecessor to the smash hit RE4 which was called quote "the greatest survival horror game ever made" RE5 brings something brand new to the table. thee entire story you cooperate with your partner and fellow B.S.A.A. agent sheva alomar. the duet go great together its always good to know someone is watching your back, however sheva is not so great when it comes to keeping inventory. you will have to do all the work by keeping up with her ammo and health as well as your own. but she definatley returns the favor because there are several parts through out the game if she wasnt there you would be toast! the graphics are mind boggling in this title and people may mistake it for a live action movie for a second! the story is excellent to, going in depth with the supposed death of chris's old partner jill valentine while they battled albert wesker. gameplay is similar to RE4 which is great. and the use of melee attacks will help you out ALOT! the main complaints people had with the game was the inability to move while shooting and that its not scary. well the reality is the inability to move really dosent change anything because you will be swarmed from all angles by zombies so there is no where to run any way usually and standing your ground is the best way to survive if you have the ammo to do so. and as for it not being scary well i have to agree. i personally am not all about being scared to death playing a game so the tension level was perfect for me. bottom line: this is a must have title for both PS3 and Xbox360 and in my opinion the best RE game ever made.
