    Anyone else?

It's so atmospheric, tense and beautiful.

I zoomed past that mission in 45 minutes to get out of it.

It reminded me of D2 on the Dreamcast. All snow, all the time.

I thought it was intense and atmospheric until I got to the mother****ing ice slope. Then I had a slight rage quit.

Amen. I ran passed anything I could but always ended up getting blind sided and rolled back down. The rest was alright but i skipped passed all of it mainly.

Playing splitscreen didn't help at all here, lol.

Yeah, that was one of my favourite parts of the game. The atmosphere made me relieved when they found a cozy looking cabin. It looked so cold that I felt happy that they found a warm place to rest. I really like the random whiteouts that happen while you're running around, and I kept doing a back slide down the slope for fun. That was awesome!

I loved that part. It also felt a little more open than the rest of the game. I played that part the first time co-op, and my friend and I decided to split up. We actually had some difficulty meeting up with each other again, which I thought was cool. Then we had fun rolling down the ice-slope and driving snowmobiles off the cliffs.

Loved that whole chapter as well. I swear Jake and Sherry were about to kiss in that cabin until a damn J'avo decided to shoot

I was playing split screen with a friend... damn I couldn't see ANYTHING AT ALL at some points because of the blizzard -.-
  • Oct 10, 2012 7:53 pm GMT
    For me, absolutely not.

You see, when I play a video game, I like to see whats happening. Maybe I'm alone here, but that alone spoiled the entire chapter for me. I like the latter half, but going through the beginning makes it not worthwhile.

Yeah it was too dark to see anything!

At least if our weapons had a flash light or something.. but NO!
Then the slope and the 99.9% accuracy snipers had no problem sending you back to the bottom.. Not to mention that if you dive to dodge it you also slide back down! WTF

then there were the flying j'avo whom you cant see when they're in the air..!

Nope this was one of the worse levels IMO

The snipers were the only thing I didn't like. Seriously, that's some heavy snow fall and they were sniping like nobodies business.

I tolerated the snipers until one pegged me while I was sliding down the ice slope. That was just not cool.

I enjoyed it for the most part. On normal, I think there are not many snipers.

I feel my blood rushing through my body. Yes, this is it. The feeling - it's coming back to me: the sensation of killing.

Hated that part. One of the worst level designs in recent memory. Extra immersion and realism does not equal fun. Oh, and that wonderful slope that you could repeatedly get knocked down was the best part. <sarcasm> Honestly, who thought that was a good idea? Also, the snow mobiles handled wonderfully and were a blast to play. more sarcasmLamest section out of the whole game. It baffles me that some people considered it the best.

I thought the level design was awesome but the j'avos ruined it. If they actually put some creepy enemies on that map it would have been brilliant. Instead we got the typical militia guys on snow mobiles level that's already in every shooter ever.

One of the worst levels, if not THE worst level of the entire game. Sure, the snow blizzard effects were nice, but definitely not enjoyable when both players can barely see anything.

Spamming the gps to get a sense of direction wasnt fun either. If that wasnt in the game, the level wouldve sucked outright. Capcom shouldve given us thermal scope or at least on the sniper rifle.

I wont even get into the ice slide slope. Rest of the game(level wise) are fine.
