Resident Evil 6 User Review
more of the same hallways, alleys and sewers full of zombies

- The Bottom Line:
- "Been there, done that"
this is definitely a been there-done that game.. they try to make one campaign from three unique perspectives, but i couldnt find any difference between characters. not as far as abilities go anyways.. the game seems like one dirty hallway followed by a dirty sewer leading to a random dirty ruin.. this average american city happened to have an eloberate ancient ruined city right underneath! the game starts with a political party at a prestigious college, so why is all the wallpaper peeling and the place looks abandoned years ago. capcom switches things up by throwing in timed button sequences, but without warning and waay too many. leading to many a quick, cheap death.
the levels are very linear, no crawling over a car or walking around an obsticle in this game. just point a to point b, with mabee an occasional detour. infinitely spawning enemies dropping all the ammo you could ever need doesnt inspire any sense of urgency, let alone fear. lame puzzles are little more than collect this while enemies spawn and drag it to location x.
the loot drops and collectables are thin compared to r.e.5, greatly decreasing replay if you cant upgrade yourself or your equipment much..
on the plus side, partner a.i. is better, and this game is obviously built around the co-op experience. and the graphics are pretty good..

It's now more of a bad 'Gears of War' ripoff.

Not bad at all. Reviews are way too harsh. Not "horror" at all and is driven solely by the story.

Resident Evil 6 is a shadow of its former self but still a fun experience that must be played by action aficionados
