Capcom says 4.5m units of Resident Evil 6 have shipped to retailers since launch, breaking the company record. Johnny has more on the story.
they shell all those copys of the game but that dont make a better game that means money for Capcom but im sure that a lot of people is gonna ask for their money back, the game sucks why they always want to try new styles when the older is shcool is the best and is never gonna change the learnin aways is going to be the same and there were just a few games that really make feel a real horror, the other are only crap so people change your copy of re for another better game or for money

@Cephrien I agree with you, my friend. This game really is intense!! And I´ve been a long time fan of the series. I´m really having fun with this one. Maybe a little bit less action and more exploring and searching for clues would have been nice, but I´m loving it anyway.
nobody will buy it!!! but lets say that the trial was good !! because nobody complained including me when I tried it. shouldn't the trial version give an idea of the overall game, or companies start to make fun of us even on that!!!
2 Like i dont think that some of the japanese developers get the message that they shouldn't follow the Western games formula (as in all action and explosive, that kind of stuff). That's why Ninja Gaiden 3 and now-RE 6 screws up.

1 Like I don't know about trolling people as a "segment". I actually agree with Kevin. I preferred the time when RE was suspenseful and better at pacing its' events. However, shouldn't you simply allow certain people their choice to enjoy it despite its' flaws? Such snarky commentary seems to sink to the level of trolling you are criticizing in the first place. It's a free country and you are allowed the privilege to do so but at least consider there's a better way to encourage healthy debating. (Instead of flaming and arguing)

My husband and I are very big Resident Evil fans. Which from your review I can tell you are not. This is a great game, I don't see how you can put it down so much. Running from the monsters to me is very scary. Your comment of not running out of ammo at all on medium level, is a lie. My husband and I play on that level and we are always hurting for ammo , more so when we come up on a big boss. So, I don't know where you get your information from. I would also like to know your definition of clumsy and horrible because I have not seen it in Resident Evil 6. The gameplay is wonderful, you must of been playing something different because it wasn't RE 6. The graphics are terrific and this has aspects from all the games. This has something for everyone. Resident Evil 6 should of gotten a 10 out of 10. Your 4.5 was pitiful and insulting to all true fans of Resident Evil. People are preprogramed zombies to only do and buy what the reviewers say.

It sounds like that you just dont accept the game sucks. If all the gamers are like you, surely the future RE games will be sucks to the core since developers will think they are heading to a right path.

If you enjoyed the game, then I am immensely pleased that you got your moneys worth, truly. But even you, someone who describes themselves as a "true fan" must admit that the game is not PERFECT (as a 10 out of 10 score would indicate).
I would also like to ask what exactly makes a "true fan". Being a true fan doesn't mean loving anything and everything they do. Being a true fan doesn't mean throwing yourself on top of the hand grenade. Being a true fan means loving what is great about a series, and hating what is bad. I put it that it true fans should in fact be the HARSHEST critics of the franchises they love.
I think Kevin put it quite well when he described resident evil as a series "that has lost its way"
4 Like Hey I was hyped, now I'm not. What a shame, I should be annoyed, but I'm not. I kinda expected things with the Resident Evil Series to start going down hill, just didn't expect it to happen this soon, especially around a game with this amount of hype and which has such an impressive graphic engine. RIP Res Series, along with those endless shitty movies, its been fun. Go join the Silent Hill series in oblivion.
