it will be the first time to me to think of buying this game because the oldest one RE:5 was not on the mood but this is fantastic

We follow an elite Umbrella clea-up crew through Raccoon City's City Hall, cutting a swath through zombies, Spec Ops, and lickers.
i love socom and i love resident evil.. i just dont think they should be combined. Feels like its leaning towards socom
Looks bad. Wake me up when RE6 comes out and shuts up all the idiots saying "RE can't be survival horror again."
i love how if this was your normal branded shooter people would bash it for being the same and not mixing things up, but when capcom tries to mix it up you bash it for not being like the old ones, people make no sense.
I'm not feeling an element of fear. I'll wait for this to go on sale. However, I'll be buying Twisted Metal on the release day.
For fans of Resident evil. Here is a video in homage to the old school games.http://www.youtube.com/user/NJLHProductions?feature=watch
@ThAdEa82 first off, i'm confused by what your answer is trying to say. second, "its normal as PC users actually need to aim instead of point and clicking when on a console" I hope you realize that you use a mouse on pc... to POINT and CLICK... what the hell are you trying to say?
I was excited for this up until now. Th ai looks horrible, and the gameplay looks repetitive as $#%^. I think I'll just buy left for dead 2 for 15$, or wait for the third.
this looks pretty fun! cant wait to play it. hope this new thing capcom try to do doesnt make me dissapointed
I'm dissapointed, I was hoping very like RE: Outbreak. You got the survival; the horror; the puzzle. But this one, the game style is too western. Crap!
@Verzingetorix - its normal as PC users actually need to aim instead of point and clicking when on a console
@ Tedxtasy My thoughts exactly. Wouldn't mind if Nintendo gave up the license for Resident Evil 0 and the Resident Evil remake from Gamecube so we could get em for XBL/PSN
believe me, if this game was any good i would have said that, but AI doesnt actually exist. enemies run to you like "KILL ME! KILL ME!". this game is supposed to be co-op but what i saw was one guy slaughtering everybody in the same spot.
GUYS really enough with your dumb critiquing if you dont like this and want something CLASSIC go play re 1 here's how: go buy a modded ps2 and pop in your RE1 disc and play! if you dont have an RE1 disc THEN THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM MR. NEGLEGENCE
The time they spent to make this game they could have used to make Resident Evil 6.Sorry but I am just not feeling this one at all.
i actually think that RE4 was one of the best in the series (apart from atmosphere maybe), but this is just too much...
Pretty sure this game is going to be far too short.... It always seems to be the same issue with long awaited games like this...
yawn. they should have just remade RE1 & pushed the graphics as far as they could. this looks like freakin' SOCOM, not RE.
they already announced competitive multiplayer earlier if I remember correctly it was going to be umbrella vs marines with marines having classes identical to the umbrella spec ops with zombies as a side enemies during the competitive game.
what a shame! this game is copying other games like gears of war, i could feel it when that girl started to run. damn ! why just dont give us a normal resident evil game ! instead an another action shooter!
If you're looking at this game and expecting it to be a proper survival horror title, you're missing the point entirely. The horror aspect kind of goes out the door when you're playing as nigh-superhuman Umbrella spec-ops armed to the teeth. I'm looking forward to this, and although I'll be playing it in co-op I'd like to see better AI. I get the concern over what RE has become, though, and as excited as I am for this particular twist on the series I'd really love to see a new RE game that returns to the survival horror roots (more atmospheric horror, limited resources, exploration and puzzle solving). RE5 was fun, but like RE4, was a bit too linear.
The thing that made RE scary was its camera angle... This looks boring, not scary at all and dull. Only cool aspect about this game is that you get to play under the Umbrellas command. We finally get to see things from their point of view. I'm pretty sure a lot of secrets will be revealed by playing the game as an Umbrella soldier.
