I don't even know now how many times Resident Evil has been remade or how many special editions there are out there. I played the original Resident Evil but never got around to finish it but when I got this one it was a must. This game is truly terrifying and at times made me go and turn on all the lights for fear that there was a zombie around the corner. The gameplay is very typical of resident evil which ive always enjoyed and the element of surprise is always there. To me this game was pretty hard and I liked how they made you need to burn zombies after you killed them to prevent the dreaded crimson heads. The boss fights in this game were decent and a good challenge. This is resident evil to its core and if you want to play a great game that will scare the crap out of you this is it. 10/10
