Resistance: Burning Skies User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 10 Hours or Less
- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
When the first reveiws starting coming out i was nearly put off getting the game but due to the lack of vita games at the moment i thought what the hell! And what a surprise.
I think most reveiwers are comparing it to consol games and i think that is wrong this is a handheld game for god sake. Any way to my reveiw.
Graphics
For a handheld game they are great. On par with the first or second generation ps3 games.
Sound
Some weapons sound a bit weak but all in all very good. The noise of walking can be a bit annoying as it sounds like hes wearing hi-heels.
The music is really well done.
Gameplay
Very very good the controls work well and i usually hate touch screen additions but they work very well in burning skies. The enemies are a little stupid at times but this doesnt effect the game too much.
Story
Weak! But you could say the same about most shooters this day and age. But its still good fun. Story isnt everything anyway if you want some mindless killing. I must say the last boss is very very annoying, it nearly caused me to throw my vita.
All in all burning skies is surpirsing and i think it shows that reveiws can really damage a game and the only way you are going to find out how good a game is, is by playing it yourself.

Fun single-player and mostly well done multi-player make up the entirety of Resistance: Burning skies.

While not up to par with its console counterpart, Resistance: Burning Skies is still a decent shooter for the Vita.

Burning Skies is a bare bones Resistance experience with average multiplayer. Save this for a weekend rental.
