After making that other topic the other day I went to look around and realized it's only available on amazon for 60 bucks.
it's not even available on the PSN, from what I read on the net there arn't many prints out there anymore.
anyone knows if there's any chance they'll make a new batch of prints for this?
can european versions work with a NA ps3 without any issues?
or is there any other alternative to be able to play all the rockband network tracks + pro keyboards without owning RB3?
cheers and thanks in advance!

just bought my copy of RB3, it was a false advertisment, it said New for 45 bucks, ended up being without the shrinkwrap, it's in good condition, but I don't know if it being used could have some negative effects upon future releases and so on?

Your best bet is to get a used copy. Check for store availability with a retailer like Gamestop...actually picked my copy up today for $28. The informal second hand market (ebay, Amazon, etc) is seeing prices well, *well* north of $60, which is the most you'd ever spend for a new game, save extenuating circumstances. Save a fresh printing of new disks, RB3 is going to get very expensive and increasingly rare over the next couple of months. It's the best game in its entire genre, guilty only of being released after the fad had "died" and burnout had set in. Awesome game...low production...you do the math.

^yeah I said I bought a used one already, thanks for the advice, but I was riped off, it was advertised as new, and even when it looks in good state the disc "crashes" once or twice per playing session and sends me back to main menu and becomes a pain to re-load my previous scores.
Edit: any chance they'll ever release this in the PSN? I mean XBLA got it ._.

Ideally I think they should make RB3 available for download, but sadly I doubt that it's likely. The reason that RB3 is out of production for PS3 in the first place is because interest cratered particularly hard on that platform. PS3 has never been a good home for these games, due to various issues involving the structure of the Playstation Network and licensing/marketing restrictions that made it harder for the publishers to package and sell software, peripherals, and DLC. Frustratingly, the peripherals have often been more expensive on PS3 for seemingly little reason, and sales always lagged on the platform in general. I think what may have especially hurt sales of the PS3 version RB3 in particular was the obscure marketing issues that prevented the sale of a game/keyboard bundle. 360 and Wii had great bundle packages that allowed customers to pick up both RB3 and the new instrument with no hassle, and PS3 owners were treated to paying quite a bit extra (I think it was about $40, maybe more) for the same thing but as two separate, standalone products. In short, a great way to kill interest.
Porting games for direct download takes time and money, and unless that interest is revived, I'd be surprised if Harmonix, or EA, or whoever is still distributing content ever bothers to put the work in. If it reaches the point where you practically *need* RB3 for a very large chunk of the DLC it may happen, but practical limitations will probably keep things quiet on the western front otherwise.
