Rock Band 3 Video Review

after my drum broke 1 week after i buy it and the guitar 1 month after i think i'll never buy anything for harmonix again

the moment i found out slipknot was on this game i just had to get it. and i just hope they make a rockband slipknot!

I would get this game. Problem is i would have no one else to play it with.

I got this the other day when Dad got me the logitech guitar ($400 one) OMFG this is awesome (have it on PS3 though)

i might get this game actually. i can allready play "pro" drums, but learning that pro guitar stuff looks cool :>

Rock Band is a game you should invest in if you have the time and money for it. Otherwise stay way from this game.

The shocking news that no one is aware of... I expect RB3 to be every bit as good as all the reviews say it is. But I don't know yet because my "preorder" of the game + keyboard hasn't arrived yet. Delivery and perhaps license issues have caused a delivery fiasco (here on the west coast of Canada), according to EB Games (Canadian version of GameStop). But it apparently affects all retail outlets. The game itself is available, but not the bundle. And there is no information as to when the bundle will arrive or if we who ordered in advance will be losing out on the free DLC promised as part of the preorder. I am surprised that no one (media or game sites) is covering this.

This game is going to be awesome. I still think there should be some Led Zepplin or Fishbone, or another insane song by Rush.

So this is what Dance Dance Revolution has evolved into.. lets see how Dance Central holds up in this music timing genre.

One day, when the interactive entertainment industry evolves past just creating purely games; we will have an application that allows you to use a PS3/XB360 as an amp and plug a real guitar directly in. No game, just pure opportunity to jam on real instruments, with friends at home or online, and a robust set of teaching tools that can see how you're doing and tell you where to improve.

@Iamshmee nooo your wrong, sports games, rts, and strategy don't involved plastic instruments. Unless your on Wii.... but that's a different problem all together....

If Harmonix made an Emperor - Live Inferno track pack or put Dimmu Borgir - Puritania on the store, I would worship this game haha.

pro mode looks pretty sweet

Rhythm games are very hard to improve, but i think they nailed it with pro mode.....

I think a 10.0 is more deserving for this game, especially given the tone of his review. He didn't say a thing about it he didn't like!

I love the drums both in real life and on Rock Band, so i really like the look of Pro Mode :D

@ SUPACRAZY84 Before I forget was already in Guitar Hero III. And if I'm not mistaken, I think Psychosocial is on Guitar Hero 6 but I could be wrong. But I wouldn't recommend buying Guitar Hero III just for slipknot, because the rest of the setlist of that game was quite disappointing in my opinion (Legends of Rock? ok...)

Rock Band 3 all the way! I've played several Guitar Hero games,and all the Rock Bands,excluding The Beatles and Green Day(Definitely got to play that last one sometime),and I've always loved Rock Band's way of doing it better than Guitar Hero's.Now I can actually learn to play a guitar! This is what the whole idea was supposed to be when it first came out!Well it was also supposed to make rocking accessible to everyone,and this version does both.And the best part is the Pro Guitar plugs into a real amp,so you can play with or without the game.

I'm gonna either buy this or Guitar Hero cause I haven't played on my ION ROCKER in a month.

did i just see slipknot on a music game? that is why i will most likely buy this than guitar hero

every rockband is great

looks really good. too bad you can buy a real guitar for about as much money as these huge bundles required for pro mode.
