I like number 2 better but not by much.Plus playing them in order is your best option.

Rune Factory has changed the face of Harvest Moon... it'll be hard to go back to traditional HM titles after this.

Rune Factory is an amazing Harvest Moon style RPG that in cludes a fighting story line.

The graphics were good as well as the caves. But that doesn't totally make up a great game. Rent it first.
