Saints Row: The Third User Review
- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Grows on you"
There is an assumption when you play this game that you have played the other versions as well. Not to say that this is not a stand alone version (which it is). Basically you return to the saints and you are taking over the city again. This series of course is a GTA clone (again) except they go wayyy over the top. Over the top violence silliness story is silly. Pretty much you cannot take this game seriously because its playing to the silliness.
This game has the basic drive to a spot then start your mission aspect. There are around 40 or so missions which really are not too hard. As usual the game suffers from the whole missions being easy with little enemies to over the top with so many enemies you will die. The balance here is definitely uneven. The side missions are pretty fun with the usual ones that you did in previous versions of this game. As you make money you power up your character which really helps to make the game if you can believe it easier. Once you hit level 50 you can pretty much have everything and make the game not really fun anymore.
Its hard to review a game that has been done over and over again and is your basic gta clone. I think what really sets this game apart is the last of seriousness. You do a mission with an over sized head, have to run around looking for sex toys, get to use a sex toy as a weapon. Things like that tend to make the game a little more fun because you see the campiness of the whole game. Graphics are pretty good music as usual I can take or leave. At least it gives you option to turn the music off.
This game is not what you would call a new game so I would say you can probably get it for a good price. Its a good gta clone type game which could give you a lot of fun. I would recommend this game due to the price and lets face it its fun.

This is a great installment in the series, not as good as it could have been but worth playing.

Great game. Best in the series for sure! It's so ridiculous, and that's the greatest thing about it.
