Serious Sam: The next Encounter. This game once again throws you into the never ending fray of Mental's forces. Somewhere along the way (the beginning of the game) you are chasing after what I am assuming to be a relation to Mental.
Ok past the stroy line and onto the gameplay, Like Serious Sam for the XBOX the next encounter delivers on the non stop violence and screaming headless zombies. There are a few small changes to the game enemies, for instance the bulls from the xbox version which looked like yellow cows are now huge steroid injected monster bulls. The walking brains have better definition and actually look like brains, instead of blobs.
The gameplay is the same from the original as well, fight wave after wave of enemies and solve the occasional puzzle. Unlike the first SS you don't get as many weapons, so far my friend and I unlocked the double hand gun, uzi, chaingun, chainsaw and the rocket launcher. The enemies are pretty easy to kill, even on serious setting which is kind of disappointing. You also get to drive in this game as well, so far my friend drove a humvee. At first the driving was a little clunky but it improved vastly and even became an asset during combat.
I can't write much more, we only started playing recently. But if you are a Serious Sam veteran and have a GC I highly recommend this game.

Don't even bother if you already have Serious Sam FE/SE and/or Xbox Serious Sam.

This is the first level of Serious Sam: TFE. This video would be part of a walkthrough, but it didn't work. =)Posted Dec 16, 2008
