Also- yeah, the film was a piece of crap. "What did the five fingers of the grieving widow say to the face? SLAP!"
1 Like Playing the first two games nowadays, the movement feels really clunky, but the gunplay was really fun and it set the benchmark for nearly every other third person shooter to follow in their wake. And of course, they both had great stories- MP2's was more compelling because you really got to see inside Max's head, at his motivations and his almost self-destructive motives. Hoping that MP3 matches up to it.
1 Like How about...Common Video Game Diseases as an episode. You can highlight the most prolific games that have characters with Amnesia or Cleptomania.

Max Payne 1 & 2 are amoung the finest video games ever made. Mona's Funhouse still holds the title of Best Level Ever! Max Payne 1 and 2 are now FREE when you pre-order Max Payne 3 on Steam. Do it. Too bad the movie sucked. It Really Sucked. All they had to do was recreate the game. The only good thing about the movie was the ending credits - if you didn't walk out half-way thorugh. Max Payne 3 is lookin good so far.
You sir are an idiot, Man On Fire with Denzel Washington was a remake of the same movie made in the 1987 starring Scott Glenn. It was remade using a black man as the hero, to appease the monkeys in hollywood.
The first two Max Payne games were awesome, noir ftw! Now the movie was a real disappointment, so let's hope Max Payne 3 won't let us down either.
The thing I remember most about Max Payne 1 and 2 is how hard they were, definately games that needed a lot of saving :)

My best memories of playing Max Payne is with a mate - we jumped off a buildings onto the scaffolding below and argued about who got the most gruesome death... Good times!!! :lol: Cannot wait for the 3rd installment, going to pop my eyeballs.
You're right, But i cannot fathom why people that do game's film change most of the things. There' like what 1minutes at the end of bullet time killing...... i was watching the whole thing just for that. And if they had tick to original story...... that would have helped too.
MP 2 do have better gameplay. But when it come to the story telling then MP 1 is light years ahead, its story is just so haunting to forget. And about the movie? Well, before it came out I thought that it would be a brilliant idea. But after watching it, I know that it best stays as game forever ever after.
I still love going back to play my Xbox copies of one and two (Both really good ports) and I hope 3 is able to raise the bar on this awesome franchise.
Max payne 3 looks interesting, but I'm gonna wait on reviews first. Never played any of the others
Have all sorts of great memories of the first two games (two of my favorite shooters of all time), and I'm definitely picking up the threequel. Rockstar seems to be doing the series justice while moving it forward as well. Oh, and that part you showed of Max shootdodging off of the ship into the insta-kill water? Yup, just did that (AGAIN) on my most recent playthrough of MP1. Every freaking time....
Awesome video. MP3 still my most anticipated game for 2012, can't wait for May 29 (PC version) and yea, that movie was god awful.
Max Payne to me is the best action game ever created. With it's fantastic gritty story, dark atmosphere and superb gameplay, you really can't go wrong with it. The graphic novel scenes is what really made the game and the story feel just right. I have played it multiple times and still come back to it to this day. With Max Payne 2 being a pretty good sequel, I wasn't impressed with the ending as much, there was a cliff hanger that I thought would continue through Max Payne 3, but as I can see with the current info we have on Max Payne 3, I don't think it will continue right after Max Payne 2. Which to me is really aggravating. I am interested to see what Max Payne 3 has to offer though and can't wait to play it.
Max is the ultimate killing machine. All those bullets in his guts don't mean a thing as long as he can't feel the pain. He's unstoppable!

idk im thinking no remedy no true max payne. I did really enjoy alan wake though if it had bullet time it would have been weird yet amazing.

well i loved max payne 2 soo much i complated a chalenge for it do the entire game without slow mo i did it it was not that hard but before the end of the game i took the librty to finish off some foes with slow-mo
Max 1 and 2 where awesome games, lets hope the 3rd will be an awesome one as well. DukeNukem on PC was a good game as soon as it came to console it turned to be a peace of crap, wasting time and money.
Whenever I ask why people hate the Movie, they don't seem to be able give me a good reason. Just nonsense like It's not great, but anyone who think its terrible likely hasn't seen too many movies.
Summary: Max Payne 1 was awesome, Max Payne 2 did the job, the movie SUCKED and Max Payne 3 is gonna be epic. There you go.
