So it turns out that EA probably scrapped online pass because they knew of Microsofts evil plan to block the use of all pre-owned games unless a fee is paid. You can tell the world has gone mad when the tinfoil hat wearers are 100% correct.

EA has abandoned its online pass scheme -- a bit of news we thought you'd be delighted by. Turns out not everyone is rushing to thank EA. Johnny investigates.
@6:03 Johnny, with the always on kinect 2 EA could be watching our every move when we play their games.
Make the Xbox One episode an extra long special. Come on, we are ready. We can take it!
Man, I can't wait for the Feedbackula on Xbox1.
The thing is, 99% of the comments are negative... lol
Funny that this episode is about EA droping Online Pass.
Two weeks later Microsoft put Online Pass on everything... :)
Hey all, just wanted to let you know the next episode of Feedbackula won't be online until next Tuesday. I am currently a bed-ridden mess owing to some virus doing the rounds at the minute. Rest assured you will get an episode on the Xbox One announcement as soon as I'm back to health. Sorry!
@SHEETBIKE Get well. I don't mind waiting for the next episode. With everything that has been going on, I'm sure the next episode will be epic!
Johnny, like Ali G and Dennis Pennis before you, you have become a victim of your own sharp-tongued success. When people actually hope to be singled-out for ridicule on future instalments of Feedbackula, we really have fallen through the looking glass. Now bend me over and call me an asshat.
JOhnny,
I hope you make an extra long episode about the Xbox One reveal...as many rats and PISS4 lemmings are already calling the winner of the next gen. Thankfully they'll be leading the charge with....a controller....and some pretty CG cutscenes for future games.
LEMMINGS!!!!!!
As for a more level headed person, such as I, I'll wait till E3 before I make my complete decision regarding the Xbox $one and the PISS4..
If you use this, please make sure it's a deep manly voice that reads it...
Hahahahahaha, what a funny joke, calling people with logical fear of EA doing something behind the scenes tinfoil heads! Terrific! Say, whats your comment about EA having an exclusive deal with MS on theyr new used games blocking console again?
@TheDromader Well, the tinfoil head bit was in response to someone claiming EA might be secretly tracking them, but I take your point. I'll be looking at the used games thing in the next episode, and will definitely be having a look at EA. Thanks for the comment.
Johnny, Johnny, Johnny.........you must be pretty embarrassed right now, since every naysayer was right about EA with the reveal of the Online Pass 2.0 (times one million) that is Xbox One.
Don't get me wrong - I enjoy Feedbackula. Everyone likes to see the Illiterati taken down a peg or two and I think Johnny's a witty and engaging host, but I'm puzzled by the show's redesign. What's the relevance of a Wild West theme when the name of the show is a play on the title of Bram Stoker's most famous creation (something that was reflected in the previous 'horror' Feedbackula theme)? Then there's the Mariachi music and the Día de Muertos skulls. Perhaps the title of the show could be changed. 'The Good, The Bad and Feedbackula'? 'Once Upon a Time in the Web'? 'True Shit'? I dunno.
That moment you realize that you labeled people as paranoid and it turns out they were right.
da hell is up with this guy? EA deserves all the hate it's getting. and hell no we shouldn't be foolish enough to think they don't have another trick or 200 up their greedy sleeves.
I love the new voices. Please pick random unrelated people around the office and off the street to read the lines more in future ';,,;'
You know whats great about being a PC gamer. Is that steam takes care of us. Valve is the future... soon we will Crush EA.... its just a matter of time.
The core idea of feedbackula is for people like you to write comments, thus increasing content for Gamespots web-site... and in turn increasing or consistently maintaining Search Engine Rankings for Google, Yahoo and Bing.
@blackoutmuser LOL, they changed the show's graphics and theme to match the music haha.
Now ubisoft needs to stop their online pass crap as well, only then will the my faith in gaming companies be restored

Paranoia? This show looks like it was made by request of EAs, to try to calm their COSTUMERS (angry and unhappy).
There is so much subject to be talked... Really? F. this company. Let us complain, and let them improve their behaviour, its their job and it is OUR money that supports it.
Was with ya till the sarcastic comment over EA being whores to maximize profits. There is a line where things go too far. It's not ok or acceptable just because everyone does it. Nor because there is a flaw in capitalism that people overlook because they like to picture themselves as the one benefiting from it.
Also contradictory to the over all idea that the big budgets of AAA games are hurting the industry.
haha great show. Still don't understand the west-mex theme that has been on the last couple though :\
EA took my first born son when they passed over Egypt I didn't feel like buying digital goats blood to paint on my door for $9.99... Did you know digital products are considered leased to you rather then you owning them?
Dodged that bullet.
Well they do try to change policy by taking the money they get for online passes and shelling it out to groups with certain agendas.... so... Yea they are in fact trying to change our everyday life that has nothing to do with video games...
@bigbadmamajama1 Just about every, single company does such a thing. And they have been doing so for a very long time. Influencing governmental, political and social institutions is something businesses with large profit margins do.
Whether that's a good or a bad thing is a different story.
@cdog5386 @bigbadmamajama1 However there are important factors like consumer loyalty and reputation to think of and there are plenty of successful company's that don't have to drag their consumers through the dirt.
This bad reputation and publicity has really hurt their bottom line, their bushiness practices are behind the times in a modern world where they can't get away with it like you could in the 90s or before.
This is why the CEO resigned hopefully they see that sometimes it's worth losing a few thousand here or there to keep consumers happy and coming back to buy more.
Look at the Witcher they gave away copy's used no DRM and upgraded everyone's for free all places they could have squeezed more profit and no one would have bat a eye but because they did all those things their games have been consistently outselling their predictions now that's good business.
Well considering the next gen consoles don't play used games. The online passes would become kinda useless. Nice try EA.
Love the voices! They get better every time. Hilarious show, thanks again for the laughs!
That was pretty good but a lot of hash comments in that video about EA. I feel you should have gave them a little more credit for that.
This is getting old. And annoying. I was Danny's videos back. Escape to Mount Stupid was so great.
@dhsk8sb Honestly, I think these are far from stale...but agreed I want ETMS back sooooonnn
