Welcome to GameSpot Asia's new show, where we cast a sharp eye on free-to-play games! This week we check out the futuristic MMO Sevencore and assess just how free it really is!
Hmm, why was SWTOR' F2P never reviewed?, i guess GS didn't want to stuff EA's shit down their throats.. or GS does get paid.
It is really sad that there was no coverage of SWTOR F2P or their upcoming expansion. It is a fantastic game. It might have had some flaws at the start but so did all the other ones and much worse than SWTOR. I think ppl just went in with super high expectations. Many thought of it as the last possible WoW killer. It's only 1 year old and it has ironed out all it's original flaws. GS really should make a trip back to SWTOR. srsly the new quests like the one for HK-51 are just unreal. You don't have that in any other MMO.
@chyrax If they revisit SWTOR, they should revisit every single other MMO that has been altered in major ways till date. Including TERA, Rift, The Secret World and whatever else. And saying that they shouldn't is just not fair to the other games. Every single MMO that comes out will usually make huge changes to their game. Hell, Rift added a new continent in a single patch. Even TERA is going F2P. And there are so many MMO's around that it'll take too much time to re-review them all. Which makes it pointless.
@Master_Vexov Yeah there was a review of the original game and I think there was a video or write talking about what all you can do under the free to play model so essentially they have covered it.
@Master_Vexov They reviewed the original version. Not sure if they have a habit of revisiting games.
Hey look, it's a World of Warcraft rip... again. Please tell me the Korean ripoff devs are at least off of Counter-Strike and are into Call of Duty with their shooters now.
looks awfully generic, just like every other free to play mmorpg, watched 5 minutes and it already feels like I played this a thousand times over. I still don't understand how people don't get bored of this gameplay model, grab a mission/quest- kill x of y mobs, repeat into infinity... at least wow had a renowned world and lore that people already loved even before the game came out so it was a treat to experience it from another perspective
@CruiserCaptain @wezkilla Yeah but wasn't that a mistake? They pulled it back and explained it was still an alpha build which they will let people play a bit.
@godofratz @pelvist Im fully aware of that, what i meant is that LOL is bigger than any game on any platform.
