I was not aware of this meme, and honestly I don't get the humor. I played MW2 religiously and never even noticed it. The guy is your commanding officer and tells you what to do, what is the big deal? Would you rather he made up a new name for you each time or something?

Hey Gamespot, love the site, one suggestion! Going forward, all review videos and shows should be put together with voice overs and/or appearances done by Jess and Zorine. Don't get me wrong, Kevin, Carolyn and the rest of the gang, I love your insightful and detailed review content, but on the presentation side, well, any media organization should always put their best foot forward. Good times.

Memes are neither good or bad, some are just more annoying, such as arrow to the knee, but also, I love Sgt Foley! Who is his VA? I always recognised him, but could never find it...have no idea why I couldn't find it.
1 Like Kind of mixed comments. I personally like this particular series. Some of the memes I know well and enjoy remembering. Others (like this one) I never ran into because I don't do FPS games. So this two minutes got me a) a pretty amusing look at a silly internet meme and b) some cultural literacy with all my gaming friends. Seems like two minutes well spent to me. Your mileage may vary.
1 Like My favorite is split between the "arrow to the knee" stuff from Skyrim, the "dangerous to go out alone, take this" one from Zelda, and the Guile's theme goes with everything meme. Fun times for me!

@Srdjann @tempertress Though I am ashamed to admit it, I must agree that if Jess were a siren I would foolishly wreck my ship on her island. Didn't they traditionally sing or something though? I've never heard her try to _sing_ in any of these videos... ;)
