Creative Director Matt Higby joins Chris Watters to make things explode and show you the latest in Planetside 2.
I need a gaming computer again. THIS is the type of battle/warfare game I have wanted to play for so long. No little rounds, no little maps, no 12 vs 12... there so much to do in this game. Okay, I think I know what I want to do with the next few years.
Ordered a gaming laptop and waiting for it to come in the middle of this month. This is going to be the first game I play. Cannot wait to get wrapped up in this game.
@almoalgam not likely. Im running it on a gaming laptop with an i7 and I have to play with everything on med or less
Yeah, me too. But for consoles they did seem to get the closest with MAG.

Does this game have a fast assault vehicle like the Warthog from Halo? Or like the jeep from Battlefield?
Really looking forward to playing this one! PlanetSide 1 was amazing! This looks a whole lot better!

Im getting tired of shooters but Ps2 is a darn fun game. I played the first one and the second is light years better. It's an awesome game.
Planetside 2 is not about run and kill em it's about flank and safe Awesome war game with 500-600 player on 1 map :D
i believe when its full, its about 6000 people per planet and 2000 per continent.. and I have seen the biggest battles ever in a video game within PS2
Is there a chance GameSpot will stop using this horrible video player and code something that works?

Question: [Are they going to add the option to bind the mouse moving left and right to be used to yaw respectively for aircraft, because not everyone has such fly style of using mouse movement for rolling], i prefer my mouse movement the same as my person's view, to where my "a" and "d" key should control movement and my mouse controls all looking with me considering yawing and pitch to be a semi-way of looking around / having better control to line up perfect shots from far away. The way it is right now for the people with my fly style, just binding everything to keys and not really touching the mouse is a real handicap and could be better if such implementations were added. DICE did it with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in that you could bind mouse movements to something because the simple movement of the mouse in an x and y, (but not diagonally) direction registered such to whatever was waiting to be bound "press any key or move mouse to bind this to it" kind of thing, so i assume the minds at SOE could put something like this in such an MMO where you'd think with the genre, you could bind anything to anything. Please don't single us out by saying / having an attitude of "just use the keyboard / get a controller." :(
Question: Why no more beep beep in flash? :( I could have sworn there was a horn on the flash in beta so if it can't be added as a main feature at least make it some kind of unlock-able please? Preferably in the high pitched / tuk tuk from battlefield:bc2 vietnam / hilariously cute, range of sound? :3 Or even different sounds to choose from as unlock-ables. If it's a "some people find it annoying" thing, then put a toggle-able option to client-side, or in general, to whether or not you hear other people's horns or not. You could even add to all vehicles; tanks could finally have a way to scare their teamates into moving, before they get run over. :D How else am i 'posed to tell people they're about to be splat on my windshield? :'(
@apuppyy there was never a horn on any of the vehicles. it was something they talked about adding, but they've been focusing on more pressing issues, like server and client stability.
@Cabose420 @apuppyy of course! :D yes i understand that part and am happy to hopefully be able to run on better frames than 20 in the future (that AMD reassurance from the stream calmed me), but in a general sense since flash'ing around in the middle of nowhere is the best i can do (which is REALLY fun btw (no sarcasm; the hills /.o./ ), it IS something they're intending to add right? I like to get my hopes up rather not have any hope at all for it :( Flash sliding on the ice in "Esamir" is the best, but better with cutesy beeping :3
Alot of people say that NC is underpowered. I play as an NC and it's fine its just that the players on the team are just terrible. Every NC player just runs in! take your time, analyse the situation and flank! don't just run into no mans land.
@Chris_Watters Watters you foul beast, I shall vanquish y- wait, how...how can I go about vanquishing you? Thats like, practically on my bucket list right now. Work with me here, seriously.
@brxricano A crucial part of any good vanquishing is proper planning. Life isn't just some vanquish-'em-up where you can go around vanquishing people willy-nilly. Besides, if I helped you vanquish me, I'd have to help EVERYBODY vanquish me, and I just don't have that kind of time.

Critter - including "HUGE" critters that can withstand shots would be good.
Where and how can you get the vehicles (for those without the insta-spawn vehicle commands)?
Matt: Please remember to make the account-to-account character transfers a reality. Save me some time/money invested into two accounts given the one empire per server limitation. And thanks! Keep up the good work.
Id like to comment on the great Customer support/Service team and anyone else who is involved with dealing with these issues! quality response times and often great outcomes!
@Spencley-Gary Yeah people always slagged of SOE's customer support in the past, I've always thought they were the best and respond ultra fast, Blizzard took a month to reply to me once :\
I'm still a bitter SWG vet and can say that...
I spend a heck of a lot of time as Platoon Lead: Any plans for developing command tools?
(Also: command chat and empire wide map icons aren't accessible to platoon leaders if they are not also squad leaders: is this intended?)
would there be plans for hi-jacking vehicles? (perhaps unmanned only and not main vehicles)
