Are the download versions of the show good again? I stopped bothering to DL them a few weeks back because the quality of them was subpar for like 3 weeks in row with the last one having a full 18 minutes of preshow trivia in it before the show started then only having 10 minutes of that before it ended, Yeah, it was bad. Anyways hope whomever is charge of cutting the the videos for these things has gotten a handle on it now,

Mass Effect for PC looks so amazing. The new interfaces and mechanics definitely fit the game better. Can't wait!

Hey On the spot, why is the new video smaller than before and more filled with ads than ever before? That's like getting your taxes riased and your income slashed. Even freaking youtube has a bigger screen than yours.

Thank you so much for hiding the option to manually download the episode!

The trick? I used Google to find the video page player:
http://www.gamespot.com/video/944250/6190651/on-the-spot--05-08-08

And from there the download video option ACTUALLY lets you download the file directly. You better not mess with that option!!

You can also click on the Open large player ยป link on the left side-bar to get to that page and access the files directly.

What is it with people? Just after GameSpot went through one of it's hardest times it has got back on it's feet and is offering us more content then ever before. We now have a brand new sports gaming podcast in addition to the hotspot. We have a new sports gaming show in addition to on the spot. Great tournaments, game nights. New interface for the on the spot page as well as easy access via the Wii and Mobile phones. What's great as well is the core content of the site is free, unlike IGN. Everyone at GameSpot are clearly working their asses off. They don't owe you whiners anything. Try being content and thankful for what you have for a change. You might find it's kind of nice.

Hey - why are you guys messing up the download page? I use mac, no chance to use your download manager. Finally figured out I could download the h.264 version by clicking on the "Open Large Player" link. Why all the hoops? If I just want to download it, I don't need to see the streamed version open up too. Thanks!

Great show guys! Keep it up. You guys really got back on your feet after everyone leaving. I'd like to see some more Chris and Shaun, though.

So Gamespot finally explains to it's paying members, why we haven't been able to download the latest OTS and the reason for the disappearance of the direct download option. What really annoys me, is that it's taken them a whole day to do this. In the meantime, the rest of us have been messing around on the site, wondering what the f**k is going on.

So Maxwell, if you're going to issue an apology, do it after the show, not a day later. Then at least we would all know what is going on. Better still, get your sh*t together and get it right first time. It's called doing your job properly. Have you guys ever heard of that.

Ok so the Vin is leaving and the download didn't work. Get over it. You guys sound like little girls who aren't allowed to wear a bra. If you don't want to watch the show then fine, don't watch, but please while your not watching could you also not bore us with your childish opinions. Maybe your mother wants to hear it but we really couldn't possibly care less.
