@Ryanrogo I feel the same way. I've been a big COD player, but after BF3 came out I haven't touched MW3 even once. There is so much more strategy and teamwork involved in this game. Kudos to Dice for making one of the best FPS games I've ever played to date.
Love the multiplayer on bad company 2 . Most epic moment for me was taking out a building with one grenade launcher round and killing 5 players and destroying the m-com that were in the building.
@zync I played Call of Duty ever since I started with the PS3 two years ago. Put it this way, I haven't touched MW3 since I got BF3. I'm not knocking anything. but BF3 just has a more encompasing game, i.e..bigger maps, more to do than just kill and be killed, and strategy!
Have not got Battlefield 3, but loved playing campaign on BFBC 1 and BFBC 2, just felt for the characters and the humour was great. Will we ever see BFBC 3. Not really had time to get into multiplayer, so I don't have any fantastic stories to tell, but I did seem to be able to constantly run Haggard over using vehicles on campaign mode, which was quite amusing to watch.
Oh, sorry for the double post, but I was reminiscing with my IRC mates, and I remembered one really funny time where two enemy tanks had me against a building but the ceiling was too low and they couldn't shoot me, and I was like WTF?! because I knew I was going to die but no, they couldn't get me and I deployed my C4 and took the two of them out! Like a boss. BF2=great times!
I don't know if flatter works, but you were sooooo awesome and I totally did not notice how you gracefully lost (and got pwnd by EA). So, my favorite BF game is the second (played a LOT). Ok, once I was playing in this server and we were experiencing some bugs and I shoot this kid and lots of stuff start exploding, and the kid goes like "OMFG!!!!F-ing cheater!!!" and just as the as I get near him and he finishes typing, one of the explosions launches him flying straight through the sky!
It was a tough battle, but nonetheless a great one, as pierrey22 said, you guys are still awesome ppl :D GAMESPOT number 1 4ever As for my favorite BF story/kill I've manage to kill, a couple of times, the players piloting the chopper with missiles/rockets from my on chopper without blowing it, and to steal it before it crashes it on the water (This only did it once, the others or miss it while parachuting or it crash it before regaining control of it). I hope you guys get a rematch ^^
Well, it's always a blast dropping C4 or a claymore right behind a sniper, but when there's two snipers right next to each other, it's a priceless double kill. Always my favorite moments. :)
Shame losing. I just got BF3. But I have a BF2 story of accidentally grenading myself in a noob moment, as 3 guys rounded the corner, and blocked them set up a bomb in the last minutes of the game
Maybe you could've turned the game around if you knew you could actually turn around while arming/disarming the M-Com :P
Good play guys, but it's still a shame you lost :( Wish i had bf3, but I havent done anything awesome enough in bfbc2 to write here :/
