A recommendation from me, you could play one of the Marathon games. Besides they're free on Bungie's website, so hey, why not.
This seems like an okay game but I really like the environments though; other game recommendations are: Far Cry 2 [2008] and Darkspore [2011].

I get the impression (only watched a couple of minutes) that it's all about the initial experience, and that any replay value is negligible - would I be right in my assumption?
@s_h_a_d_o I haven't completed it so I can't say for sure but it seems that way. Though the same could be said about most games so I don't consider it a negative.
I'll probably pick this up regardless, if not just for it's uniquity.
By the by, having recently had my passion for turn-based strategies rekindled (thanks XCOM), I've gone back to an old favourite that might be worthy of encountering randomly - Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel - perhaps not the most engaging "real-time" gameplay (from a spectator's perspective) the way I play, but the combat settings could most certainly be tweaked to provide something more immediately entertaining.

@blackrunie Was wondering about that also. Maybe they decide it was too risque for our fragile minds.
In hindsight, I'm a little sad I watched this clip. So my curiosity actually got the better of me... still looks pretty awesome though and hopefully this video is just a fraction of what the game has to offer...
