Man Johnny hasn't played any games what is he doing there? I mean come on... he didn't play Kingpin, Mafia and now Delta Force!? it's one of the few epic classics of all time...
@JDFS In fairness he grew up playing Nintendo, I'm the exact same with basically every Nintendo game before I got a gamecube.Once we start playing those games I'll be the one in the dark!
@dannyodwyer @JDFS I would imagine that Johnny is quite happy that he has missed a fair few classic games..... after all how gutted would a true gamer be to find out that he had played every classic game and there were no surprises left in his gaming career?? i know i would be quite pissed off. Im quite happy with the fact that im nearly 40 and still find games that i missed first time round and i started out with an Atari 2600 :)
omg i played this game online for so long!!! What a cult community.
=GNS= all the way baby!
Multiplayer was pretty awesome for this game. It is also the first game to have bullet drop.
This game looks excellent and I like the aiming method; so some other game suggestions include Axelay [1992] and M.U.S.H.A. [1990].
I'm really enjoying the Random Encounters. A lot of good memories!
I dug out some old games to suggest. Nocturne, Diciples, Heroes of Might and Magic.
fun old-school tactical shooter and the best in the series until Black Hawk Down IMO. you can get the entire series for like 20 bucks at GameStop or on Steam
This show is really growing on me. It would be cool if you did a series of games to show the advancements between the games and the years that they where released.
thank god gamespot UK is keeping up the good work, the rest of gamespot seems such a let down these days
YES!!! I totally remember playing delta force: black hawk down, that game was so beast at the time
hahaha..love these guys!! make me laugh every time...keep it up..funniest on gspot!!
I first got a Demo of this game on a CD from PC Gamer. I then had to save allowance money for a few months to buy the full version. Spent so much time playing this and the original Rainbow Six. Ahhh, those were the days.
ok ive been watching this and maybe someone can help me what is the little box hes using below the keyboard?
@middleman102002 I think they are in the podcast room, I suspect it's audio mixing equipment or something similar.
@mutley89 @middleman102002 oh makes sense i just love gadgets wondered what it was
@middleman102002@mutley89It's the control panel for our Tricaster. It basically controls the video output on the livestream.
the box below dannys keyboard wtf is that thing i want one i dont know why though lol
I used the play this game in internet cafe with other people in local area network killing and swearing each other. Good times.
Man I remember playing these games. They have not aged well lol but I enjoyed the hell out of them at the time!
Games were more brutal back then. The screams your enemies make when you shoot them haunts me till this day.
I sold this game back in the day when I was working with BABBAGE'S, GameStop's ORIGINAL Company name! I played the hell out of this game and you want to talk about an disappointing ending... Its the classic "You did a great job. Take care soldier." ending! =O I remember being ShOcKeD when this happened to me as a teenager! The game itself was WAY ahead of its time! I like to think of it as the ORIGINAL of Battlefield 1942 style games! The sniping was sick too! Awesome they are talking about this game!!!
>=)
volumetric piss HAHA
But i did like this game, and the few later games. And i freaking loved the comanche games. Wish more would get made.
You sure you don't getting confuse with "Black Hawk Down" ? that was the racist one.
@CaesarIIII @mechberg I assure you, this game was chock full of racists. I used to regularly play with someone who called himself "Klu Klux Klam." Glory days.
@mechberg @CaesarIIII It worries me you class playing games with a racist as 'glory days', it really does.
ROFL... i can't remember anything like that in Delta Force 1... get again my favorite one was Delta Force 2. Dunno that shit like that use to go on in the 1st one. :(
