It's a Tuesday release date special! Aliens: Colonial Marines delayed to 2013, DMC launching in January, and we find out when we can expect Bungie's next sci-fi action shooter.
Aliens-Colonial Marines, Interested back in 2010 and 2011 and now I've already forgot about this game, Let's c if it hits the store atleast in 2013 as they are saying. "Bungie's project Destiny", sounds like they are trying something that isn't Halo this time, This is good.
Sounds like bungie is going to be competing with Dust in the category of FPSMMOs for consoles.
Yeah, after Duke i don't expect ANYTHING good from this Colonial Marines.

DmC simply won't be able to live up to its predecessors, and who knows what kind of DLC crap we'll have to put up with. I seriously hope they use that delay before the PC launch to improve the heck out of it.
Just from playing the Devil May Cry 3 and Devil May Cry 4 so much and from watching DmC gameplay videos, I can tell that the controls have been dumbed down, and the controls were the reason the whole thing worked so well.
Although I'll admit, I *am* annoyed at the change in the series. The new Dante looks fine and all but I really wanted to know what actually happened in the actual story, and I REALLY wanted to see some HD current-gen Vergil ass kicking. Looks like if I get exactly what I want, I'll be waiting at least another 3 years for that... *sigh*

Bungie is a crap developer with a crap fan base.
It's 4 games, 4 download xpacs AND whatever amount of DLC between those.
And here comes another FPS franchise that will be milked to whole new levels...it's barely announced and we can already expect 4 entries and 4 DLCs...wow....no shame left in the world....

My issue here is, usually one game is planned / released with maybe one or two DLCs ready to go...depending on the sales and success of the game. If all goes well a sequel is planned, if all go very well two. And I can understand that.
Here they are saying from scratch (there must be barely a concept ready) that the game will be exploited for eight straight years....a brand new IP will be release already for eight years non-stop.
They either are very certain that nothing will get in the way (any other new IP for example) or that their game will be outstanding enough that people will not eventually start to hate it as much as some hate COD.
Get my point? That's where I think shame is completely forgoten.
oldschoolvandal I got your point trust me, too often people forget its a product. Sure it can be argued some are works of art, but in the end this was done through some private equity format, who's only motive is profit. This is to be expected. It's not work done for posterity's sake. If it was it would be for free. I don't mind the shameless milking as long as the product is good, execution, story, gameplay, graphics et cetera. Give me Diablo 13 or Mass Effect 53.

Looks to be emulating the Halo formula, yet SEGA did get their hu-hum Aliens Vs. Predator video game, but this game looks to be interesting, let's see how well they apply the deep space movements. A bit of a wait til 1StQ of 2013.

If it didn't there would be some serious questions that needed answering. Those said questions can wait until the reveal of the PS4 and 360 part deux when people realise how underpowered Wii U is in comparison. But hey! It's got a screen on the controller! diabolik_023 I thought Bungie wasn't doing Halo games anymore. Microsoft owns the Halo Franchise, 343 is doing Halo 4.
