Never understood why they get Australian and British actor's to play American characters. I can hear Worthington's accent slipping in every other line Mason speaks.

@Codester_41 Totally agreed. Almost embarrassing that this "Story So Far" link exists in the highlighted crawl. This came could have been easily summed up in one video -- with commentary. Part one of five? Really?
I loved this game. However, if I had never played it but was considering to do so, this hack-job-of-a-recap, "Part One" story summary just killed my desire to load up this shooter

@Ultra_Taco I've been disagreeing with the comments about the story being bad, but original... not so much...
2 Like Wait, Part 1of 5? Seriously? You could easily sum this up in - max - 5 Minutes. Oh wait, no one is explaining the story in these videos, They're all just cutscenes. Screw this, anyone could have done that.
Darn it gamespot. why make 5 parts when you can make a video of only 1 part for this b-movie like story. waste of resources imo.
there was a story in black ops?All it was was a bunch of cod set pieces, that were barely related.(like most cod games since cod2.)
I expected a funny tongue in cheek recap about the game's story. It's so dark that it almost needed! I know it sounds more like IGN style thing, but gamespot did it once with a game and it was fun.
A guy was in the 60's with an Australian accent, Ice cube and he blew up a thing. Videogames!

I don't recall what happened in Black Ops because I DIDNT PLAY THE HORRIBLE UWE BOLL-DIRECTED-AND-WRITTEN CAMPAIGN :P
1. If you didn't play the campaign, then me thinks you wouldn't be able to judge its quality.
2. Don't EVER compare something to Uwe Boll. That's is just plain cruel.
2 Like why do you love them, I don't want sit through all the cut scenes of the game. I want to see a recap of the story and have things I may have not understood, explained to me. These doesn't help me in any way, I'm just going to go to IGN and watch their story recap, which is actually helpful.
2 Like Far too much quick flashing cutscenes for my taste. I was expecting a quick recount of the story so far, not just a load of patched together cutscenes.
I'll pass... better and more imaginative options out of COD. Boring cliché and biased theme.
1 Like Out of all CoDs, Black Ops had the darkest storyline by far, CoD4 had a nice story with good twists as well and also World at War, it seems Treyarch seems to put way more emphasis into the SP story than Infinity Ward and having in mind that David S Goyer helped writting the script for Black Ops 2 I am pretty sure the story will rock.
