I want to play this game.

I am a "resident evil (4)" 's super fun and I find "silent hill" 's trailler very interesting, so you could say that I have certainly a horror, adventure gameplay preferance. I would appreciate if someone could please, please suggest me a similar kind of cool game. I respect your opinion my friends and I'm waiting......!!!!!

Cannot wait for this game to be released! Part of the reason I just bought a PS3! Silent Hill The Room (I think it was called) was crap IMO so I'm hoping for much more from this one :D

to Quiquemen, its about a town a haunted town called Silent Hill that was lost in a fire, and draws people to it with the ghosts of their loved ones. Theres a lot more to it than that but thas the basics. Read about it on Wikipedia.

WooHoo!!! Man I love silent hill. Nothing will ever be better than the very first one (if you get the good ending that is, the bad ending was horrible)but the point is if they can come close to the first they will be well away and it does look very good.

Hmmm. May not seem original if some areas from games or movies are revisited, but I think a lot of fans are going to be okay with that. I personally would hope to see pyramid head, albeit not in the major role it had before. Also, Genson, people from Argentina are Argentinian. What are people from the US called? Trust me, its easiest if they're just called Americans (less confusion and less time spent typing an explanation)

That scene in the bathroom is from the Silent Hill movie, why they could not be more original? Soon we will see if Konmid did an error by giving this game to north americans developers (and I say north americans because people in the south like argentina are americans too, you see, america is composed from the continents in north and south so colombin people are AMERICANS too)

Lewis ley, it is clear that you dont know NOTHING about SH. I had the same question of SH fans. Why is Pyramid Head there when Pyramid Head is a creation of James mind? Honestly, I dont know why Konami is doing this but the only way I can accept PH in SH5 is by they telling that James died in SH and his soul transformed and is still living as PH in the otherword, apart from that I can not accept PH in SH5.

you can't have silent hill without pyramid head, by far the coolest dude. i wouldn't get it if its not in the game. haha.

Looks beautiful. And I love the aspect of adding a child. I don't know why but children when put into situations like this always seem creepy. Can't wait to buy it!!

Looks awesome, cant wait. I think pushing the otherworld as an instant change like in the movie will really keep you more into the eerie feeling we all want during this game.

Hey Bleak... ever notice how surprising it is when you find GOOD actors in videogames? I'll take what I can get. They added gratuitous amounts of profanity in RE5, so that should take some of the cheese factor out. I know I wouldn't be minding my P's and Q's when facing this sort of thing.

Having seen different footage from this game now, I am inclined to go with NickyGambino's opinion - the game does look good and most likely will be fun/scary... it's just this trailer that doesn't do it justice. Regardless, things will look a whole lot more impressive on a decent screen with decent sound. But the boy still can't act. ;)

Well I think SH are the best Horror games, and this certainly looks impressive! I hope it has the same unique Psychological approach as the 2nd one had, needles to say I will be getting it anyway!

I love the Silent Hill series but I certainly hope that the actual game is better than this sort of cheesy trailer. Maybe it's the absence of music or possibly the crappy voice acting of the kid - but it doesn't grab me like the previous titles did.

Grrr theres so many cool looking games coming out now!

buygame2.com has listed the release date as 30 September - I'd say somewhere around there. :) Can't wait!
