I'm interested in joining a region if its normal mode (disasters etc. on).

I'll be away on holidays until about a week after release, but I'll be able to play regularly after that. I'll probably just screw around a bit and get used to the systems while I'm away as ill have limited Internet access and time.

I think my origin is Stridurr, but its been a while. I'll try and send you an invite next time I'm on.

My OriginID is the same as this one. I'll be playing around 30 hours per week right from the European release and my TZ is GMT+1. I prefer to make industrialist cities.

Just remember, there's only 16 cities for the biggest region size. So only 16 people can join. You could try multi-ownership for the cities for 96 players which is a max of 6 in each city.

I like the look of Titan Gorge so I vote for that one. If it wins, I want to get Conestoga Crossing. I want the nice pretty water

I changed my mind. If DD wins, I choose Cotton Bend. I wanted a river with good wind but I couldn't find any in the descriptions so I ended up choosing Cotton Bend.

With a tributary of the Rye River curving through the middle of Cotton Bend, mayors will need to build a bridge across to reach all the coal deposits.

I think that's the closest I'm going to get out of all the cities, and having my coal industry on an island sounds like a good idea to me. I want good wind for wind power. I'd love to have Cottonwood Forest but it has low wind

Nice to see this picked up a little. It looks like there's 10 of us now. I sent everyone invites up to this point.

I like the Forest and Delta for 16 city regions, but there's a lot of variety in all 3, so I don't really care which we choose.

The more important choice comes in choosing our cities and our 4 city quadrants so the groups can be more effective and share upgrades / resources efficiently. I feel the urge for research... and there's a lot of simcity nerdage happening on the simcityhall forums.
