Any vendors online have anything special with their pre-orders or anything like that? Any advantage to buying a physical copy as opposed to digital download copy?
Thanks!

The most complete version of the game is actually the digital deluxe edition on Origin, but that is expensive at $79.99. Most retailers are offering the Limited Edition (which is just the normal version of the game, includes Heroes and Villains content) for $59.99, but Amazon.com has a promo where you get $20 towards your next amazon purchase if you pre-order, so that's probably your best bet.

I would probably just preorder it on the website or something; however, there typically seems to be little incentive of getting a physical copy of a game compared to a digital copy lately. I know at least on the main website, if you preorder now you get the "Heroes and Villains" set, which looks like it could be some fun. If you get the Deluxe Edition then you get H&V as well as French, German, and British sets.
When I have some extra cash, I'll probably just preorder the regular 60$ digital download.

I would suspect orgin because EA have been starting to give special exclusive content for downloading games directly from them over any other source... even physical copies.
Grant it's only small glamor stuff.

I preordered at EB and got a call today saying I can pick up a beta key as it's one of the bonuses I get from preordering. I have awful luck though. I couldn't play the last beta because my family ran over the bandwidth cap in January. Now my PC died two days ago and can't take part in the new beta. le sigh. I'm on my dad's old laptop right now and it's too crappy to run SimCity.

You can buy the deluxe pack separately later for $20 if you find a good deal on the regular version somewhere.

I will likely buy the regular version. I don't see the point in paying an extra $20 for some weak content.

Direct2play.com seems to be the cheapest. $41.99 for the regular edition and $51.99 for the limited edition.

Wow! At that price, it's hard to not justify the Limited Edition lol. So glad I checked this forum again.
THANKS Setting my pre-order now lol
AH. On top of the already cheap price, they had this "Saint Valentine" code to give me an extra 7% off... lol. So it came out to $48.35 USD
