Why? Why is Sleeping Dogs the best game i have played in the last 6 months?

Because it is, in certain ways, innovative and, at the same time, reproduces a formula that worked very well in other games.

The story is not bad, the graphics are not spectacular, but are ok. Driving is not very easy nor romances are very interesting...so..whats is good in Sleeping dogs.

First, the game is set in Hong Kong and not in a copy of an American town. Secondly, except for driving, that is not good nor bad, the gameplay is very good.
You have the chance to face your enemies with your bare hands, chase cars and make them spill by hitting the car with your own car, not weapons and there no stupid missions such as the ones found in some GTA games.

The game is simple, not very long and reproduces very well the oriental cultures. Kung fu, typical food, races, the triads and all other aspects of the Asian culture is very well placed in Sleeping Dogs. The story is not the best you will find nor it is a bad one. Most of players will enjoy the "ambience" of the game.

That's why i rate Sleeping Dogs as an 8.5.
