Love them or hate them, Smurfs Village has its up and down moments on its village making.

Difficulty:
Very Easy
Time Spent:
10 Hours or Less
The Bottom Line:
"Rent it first"
If you were one of those kids that would watch cartoons on a Saturday morning or getting ready for school from the 80's to early 90's. You may have heard of the Smurfs, yes those little annoying blue creatures that kept singing and saying everything with the word Smurf at every line they say.

Gameplay: If you've played games on Facebook like Farmville and Sims City, Smurf Village has the same gameplay mechanics when you start a new game you'll have an empty waste of space of land. As you start Papa Smurf will give you a guide on how to build your village and sit through a number of simple tutorials on building and using its tools.

If you have an IPhone or an Android phone, it can be a really simple for anyone to pick up at whatever age use the touch screen to slide where you want to be and tap the screen if you want to build a house or start planting and gardening fruits and veg. As you level up you'll unlock more tools and features including a bakery and plus the option to send surf out into the wild to see what Gargamel is up to.

You can unlock more goodies and money to use in Smurf Village but however you would need to pay online with your credit card or unless they have vouchers for them which they use for similar sites like Farmville and Moshi Monsters.

Graphics and Sound: Graphics run totally smooth on which ever version you play this on either IPhone or Android, but this might quite surprise a few gamers that Capcom published it along with Beeline Interactive developing the game.

The colourful environments make this app game quite impressive to look at and it' environments, every season your village will change with a different colour of paint such as Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall you'll see that your smurfs can handle and cope through seasons.

There isn't any voice acting which I think is a good since the TV series always did had a few annoying characters, most of it will be in text-dialog. Soundtrack is pretty much simple music but half the time you are most likely to have your phone on silent.

Overall: Free to download on both systems which are a good thing for gamers and fans but it's also a simple game for anyone to use, if you want speed things up or spend on more stuff you can use and purchase online.

As you level up you'll be able to unlock more content and play a variety of mini-games, but half the time it can be a little repetitive on building the same stuff and planting, but you can easily drop in and drop because some stuff can take 5 minutes or over an hour for a house to be build or plant fruit/veg. However if you leave the game you can come back to it at any time to see its progress, leave it too long the fruit/veg will begin to rot.

You've also got the option to visit other villages which is where you can visit your friend's village but you may wonder if anyone else would play these village games online or on Facebook, but you'd be wondering who else would be playing Smurfs Village.
