Warning: the 3DS version is BAD

Just to avoid any other user to waste his money on this.

The biggest problem is that it has horrible slowdown and a very slopy frame rate. Sometimes it feels like playing in slow motion.

Besides, graphic design has not been adapted for a smaller screen and it is very hasrd to distinguish items on the road until you atr over them. True, the levels are near identical to the PS3 version, and some of the effects are very nive. The 3D effect is well implemented, but everything is ruined but its snail speed.

Moreover, the game is too dificult. My twelve-year daughter has already given up cause she always finish last (and she enjoys Mario Kart 7 a lot) and even myself have hard times in the "Normal" setting.

Highly unenjoyable IMO.
