How do I get past Lost Jungle?

As what team. Team sonic , dark, rose , or chaotix.

either Dark or Chaotix, since neither rose or sonic are all that hard to beat the game with... if you're talking about dark, and need help getting past the giant gator that nearly eats you, then just keep timing your swings... otherwise just use espio to stealthily destroy enemies and collect the chao... simple, no?
