I think it's been at least 10 years or more since I last tried to beat the last boss. After that, my controller paks kept on getting corrupted on me and I lost all my South Park data.
I never could beat this game without that one cheat code when I first played it back in '99. As I recall, they didn't offer much of a strategy in NP. (I didn't even know about Gamefaqs until late 2002 and I didn't have internet access back in '99.) Anyway, just curious to see how many people vote "yes." (I added the third option because I found it somewhat amusing and because it doesn't make any sense.)

Yup, played this piece of crap way more than any sane person should have.

This game was actually pretty fun back in 1999. Good for at least one playthrough.

^ you enjoyed it? I found it a tedious exercise in turkey/clone/toy robot destruction with some iffy platform sections, it wasn't a patch on IGUANA's other FPSs. In fact the only thing I like about the game is that it's mentioned in South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, when the prophecy of coming disaster is presented they make mention of "the coming of a comet".

Yeah, it was tedious but I still found my first playthrough to be fairly enjoyable. Of course, I also like quite a few other games that a lot of people don't seem to.

Yeah I also seem to find myself drawn to games that get a bit of flak, hybrid heaven is probably my fave N64 game but most people haven't even heard of it. What other games do you like then mate?

I like WWF Warzone and WWF Attitude. A lot of people seem to hate them due to the button combinations you have to do in order to pull off moves. I didn't mind so much. I also like ECW Hardcore Revolution. However, I prefer Warzone and Attitude over that one. WCW Mayhem and Backstage Assault are also pretty fun, despite their flaws.

I also like the NES and SNES Simpsons games. (Despite the less than spectacular controls in some of them.) I will admit though that the controls in Bart meets Radioactive Man are pretty bad. The game also gets kind of boring after awhile.

I actually have Hybrid Heaven in my collection of N64 games. However, due to having such a huge backlog of games, it unfortunately has gotten lost in the shuffle of my collection.

Heh, I played a lot of Warzone, Attitude, Hardcore Revolution and Anarchy Rulez back when I loved wrestling, not really into it anymore but those games were a load of fun, the button combinations for moves made pulling off a finisher much more rewarding than later games did.
I think you'd get a kick out of the wrestling manoeuvres in Hybrid Heaven, its an odd game though, part action, part platform with combat that has real time movement with almost turn based combat.

I remember looking at an old issue of NP that covered Hybrid Heaven and thinking it looked interesting. Maybe one of these days I'll find time to sit down and actually play it. (Just need to stop adding games to my collection. That's going to be hard though. :/)

I probably never would've figured out how to do the finishers in Warzone if I didn't have a player's guide. (I didn't have internet back in '98 and as I recall, the finishers weren't listed in the move list menu either.) I was glad that they simplified it down a bit for Attitude. Still, I had quite a bit of fun with those two games. I think I actually liked them better than WCW/NWO: World Tour.

Lol that brings back memories, I used to buy N64 magazine here in the UK, and they listed all the finishers for Warzone.
I didn't really get much out of World Tour, it seemed a bit bare bones in terms of match types, Wrestlemania 2000 seemed to hit it on the head though.

Don't get me wrong, I still liked WCW/NWO: World Tour, but you're right about there not being a lot of match types to pick from. I just hated how my controller paks would keep getting corrupted and I'd have to go back to unlock DDP, Macho Man, Wrath and those other unlockable wrestlers. Thank God Wrestlemania 2000, WCW/NWO Revenge and No Mercy saved to the cartridge!

I'd agree with you about cart saves, except no mercy is notorious for corrupted saves (at least the PAL version is), and I've noticed that the batteries have started to die in some of my N64 carts so I need to get those swapped out for fresh ones, the only reliable saves are PC ones really.

I've been pretty fortunate with cartridges for the most part. The only one I remember giving me any trouble is my SNES copy of Final Fantasy 2. (Technically 4.) Luckily, I was able to beat it once without losing my save data. Though I wouldn't be terribly surprised if I put it in my SNES one of these days and found all my game saves gone.

Also, yay this game is in the top ten message boards for N64 games! If Superman 64 can be #1 some days, South Park can crack the top ten now and then.

It is?!? Wow I think that says more about the sorry state of the N64 community on gamefaqs lol, it's still one of my favourite consoles ever, along with the Dreamcast, PS2 and Mega Drive.
Still if all it takes it 2 people having a chat to get a game on to the top ten then that's pretty cool.
Oh and on the Final Fantasy thing, just be glad you got it lol, here in the UK the first final fantasy we got was VII.

Oh, I'm definitely happy I got Final Fantasy 2. I'd likely put it in my top 20 list of SNES games. Final Fantasy 2, 3 (4 and 6 in Japan) and Mystic Quest were all really great games, IMO.

Yeah we eventually got them over here on ps1 and GBA, got to say I'm a sucker for IV, V, VI and IX, they seem the most Final Fantasy-ish to me, I'm not really into the realistic visuals that they started with VIII and that's carried on until present, the games don't seem to have the same feel anymore unlike say..... Dragon Quest/Warrior that has had a consistent art style throughout, but I suppose that's what people want these days.

I haven't spent any considerable time with any of these newer Final Fantasy games. The last one I invested a ton of time into was probably Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Fun game. I've got the PS1 original on my PS3 waiting to be played.

Anyway, I should steer this topic back into South Park territory or it may get deleted.

Um.....I really liked the sound effects of this game.
