Having already divided the 3DS audience with its ill-conceived second-stick add-on, Nintendo will all but render original 3DS units useless with the release of a slimmer, two-stick model of its handheld in the first half of 2012. Though it's highly unlikely, we're going to go nuts and predict that for a (very!) limited time, owners of the original 3DS will be offered that ugly, silly-looking second-stick thing gratis by way of compensation.
