The jungles of the original Crisis have given way to a new kind of jungle in Crysis 2--the urban jungle of New York, or at least what's left of it as aliens have set up shop in the city that never sleeps. Fortunately, in Crysis 2, you have a large assortment of weapons at your disposal that can be modified to suit your needs in firefights against crafty aliens. And, of course, you also have the nanosuit, which gives you some extra skills in the form of stealth to sneak around for brief periods of time or armor bonuses when the action gets hot and heavy.

@Vaultboy-101 i'm not talking about the graphics quality but the movement of the player character when they jump or slide looks like mirror's edge.
@tonet666 i'm pretty sure Crysis 1 and 2 both use the same engine as mirrors egde along with far cry.
@zaphodbblbrox Yeah, first half was the best. I know in this one that you will be facing a kind of mercenary force (illuminate?) thats tryen to do somethin, as well as the aliens are different then in other one. Im guessing its going to be about half and half, maybe bit more aliens, but i dont think it will be like the second part of crysis 1 though.
I think they have copied some of the movements of Mirror's Edge. those slides and jumpings over the walls look very similar to Mirror's Edge. But anyway they give pretty reality and game atmosphere. This will be one of this year's benchmark.(sorry for my bad english)
Can't wait, I can only Imagine what the minimum system requirements are going to be!.. I see a Nvidia 560 Ti in my future. Also is there any specific date for PC games being offered in Blu-Ray format? Cause I'm sure this game is going to be 3 DVDs or more... Just a thought. (My Blu-Ray drives are getting lonely!!!)
nice music. 1 thing that worries me though...the best part about crysis was the first half, where you fought the korean army or whatever. The second half with all the alien killing was not as fun. Either way this is going to be bought by me :D
@kikaazz the aircraft look like half life meets avatar. the front half look like the avatar helicopters, and the back half looks like the half life 2 dropships
@TheDragonManiac hahahaha dont for get that those cards need to be in Octo SLI! Lol Im sure this game will be more optimized than the first seeing as they have to port it to consoles. DX11 is gonna look amazing!
system reqerments: 26 cors of 12.6 5 TB hard drive 2TB ram 1TB with geforce GTX 9600 graphic card just joking , hope this game wont be like the previous one
Shooters are ALWAYS better on PC when it comes to "Control". You just can't get the same level of precision with a controller as you can with a mouse interface for shooting. It does look like they dumbed the graphics down a bit for this one so it could run on the consoles. Still gonna be Awesome. First day PC version buy for me!!!
@akeem27: Who says thats Nomad? Ive seen this video on the crysis site and somehow the graphics look better there.
It looks fun, but graphically, it shouldn't look as bad as it does. I really hope that's not what the PC version will look like.
Am I seeing it wrong or do those helicopters/alien aircraft look a lot like the ones in Half Life 2??
I still think the graphics look the same as Crysis (if not worse), when they should be looking A LOT better...
Now I don't know think PC gaming is ever going to 'die out,' but I also don't hate the consoles. Crysis 2 is coming to both. Crysis 2 will probably be great on both. I am ecstatic to finally be able to spread the Crysis love with my brother gamers on the consoles. =) Aren't you?
if this does turn out to be as good as it looks which i so hope it does im not shure if i should be sad that it might kill all the other FPS in my collection or happy that it will be a great $60 investment
This game and Killzone 3 are the Fall off Duty killers! I can't wait tbh, I'm getting a 3DTV Just for both games!

ive been following this game ever since the 4 sentence article that appeared in game informer in early 2008. it only said stuff about the crazy pc game will be coming to consoles. And man i cant wait for this. Im even deciding to either get this or the 3ds and thats like a 60 game vs. a 250 dollar handheld that will probably be crazy too. Thats how good this games going to be
