We don't know much in the way of specifics for Turn 10's latest Xbox 360-exclusive racing sim, but we do know that it will have some form of Kinect support. At the 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo, we had a chance to see two types of Kinect support--one mode that lets you drive with no controller (and peek at side-view mirrors using head-tracking technology) and another mode where you can walk around your car and investigate various parts of your vehicle using motion sensing. If the reveal trailer is any indication, these features will stick around for the final product.

Kinect could work well in this, as long as i can still use my controller. more lighting and locales like snow, rain, and different times of a day would make this game amazing.
looks good, i would like to see snow, dirt, and night racing added in this one. also i dont know exactly how kinect is gonna work for this, but i dont think its gonna work out very well, i think im just sticking to my controller. and hopefully the career mode will be better, im mainly just sticking to multiplayer racing as of late for credits and exp in forza 3. overall excited though! :D
Got kinect and ready for this game (and its looking good :) ), but just wondering if anyone has seen any kinect games where you are sitting down?!?! I dont know about you guys but i dont wanna be racing in forza 4 while constantly standing up!!!
Just because your graphics and gameplay suck doesn't mean you can be excused for using real life footage instead of your game.
CGI-only trailers are so disappointing. What's the point, I'm not going to be manipulating the cars already rendered in CGI with my controllers. Gameplay footage please.
All of the spots featuring the FordGT on the Top Gear UK track were in-game. The rest was (obviously) live footage.
The trailer doesn't exactly show promise but I've been wrong before. Hopefully we'll see some real gameplay in the near future. @all the console fanboys - Lightin up on your haterades. Both Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo franchises are awesome. So quit going at each others necks and play reasonable. Its just gaming consoles.
You GT5 haters are hilarious. Have you actually PLAYED GT5? GT physics trump Forza, no doubt. GT also has nicer graphics. Yes Forza has more customization. That being said, FM4 will probably give GT5 on hell of a run.
Its not just a driving game like gt5, its a fricken RACING game. Nobaody wants to drive mazdas we want to drive Koenigseggs.
i saw the gameplay on youtube where the microsoft guys allowed this reporter to play forza and its got kinect so cant wait to play this one. The response from kinect is reeally goood. so fingers crossed. :D
Did it occur to any of you guys that this trailer confirmed different weather/terrain/daytime? If you watch the trailer, you can see cars driving through mud, snow, dirt, and in the NIGHT TIME. This is new to the Forza series and the logical next step in the franchise. I'm excited! Use some deductive reasoning people.
This game is going to be good as long as they fix the Missing Dashboards, which plagued Forza 3.
Microsoft has NEVER let me down with any Forza Motorsport game, they just get better each time, I can't wait to see what they're gonna give us this time!

Well that trailer left something to be desired... ...but with all the TONS of hours I put into Forza2 and the MEGATONS of driving I put into Forza3 and then EVEN MORE TONS of driving I put into Forza3 after playing a little GT5... ...safe to say I'm getting this day one. :)
How do I know Forza 4 will be better than GT5? Because Forza 3 is better than GT5. I'd even go as far as to say that Forza 2 was better than GT5. The physics in GT5 are not realistic. You can bounce off walls with virtually no penalty, drive through grass and dirt without even getting slowed down. It's just not nearly as realistic a simulation as Forza. Who cares about 1000 cars when you have 25 slight variations of the same car?
I can't understand it why everybody says forza 4 will be better than GT5 from what I've seen (from kinect) its not good at all and this trailer is real live action so I don't get it how you fanboy's even dare to say it will crush GT5 you know forza hase a big list to catch up GT5
OH MAN the fanboys make me laugh, i cant wait for this forza, so far i've played all the previous games and forza 3 was really fun, i was debating on getting gt5 for my ps3 but i'll just get it on gamefly and see if its worth keeping, it will also stop my ps3 from collecting dust..lol
well i know i am getting this with out a doubt. can't wait for the head tracking with kinect while i race with the ms wheel from cockpit view (on forza 3 while using wheel in that view you couldn't look left or right to see if someone was beside you). plus it looks like we might be getting rally, night time, and maybe weather. forza 3 had 500 cars total (legit 500 not like wack gt5 that considers a different color on certain cars as part of there laughable 1000 & all 500 of forza cars had same killer graphics and cockpits) & i expect perhaps 600 cars this time around. Turn10 owns sim racing. period.
i dont even own a 360 and i think this will be better than GT5. that game was such a dissapointment. even forza 3 was better. i just hope they dont mess this up, cause im getting an xbox for this game.
kinda soon...i hope they actually make a brand new game, not a forza 3 and a half game ...
If all cars have those viewable options available like the GT does at the end of that clip then i'll be thoroughly impressed, can't wait!
There isn't even any Gameplay footage yet... How can anybody here even judge the game? If it isn't better than GT5 with a year before its release, the developers should jump off a cliff.
@JGMRACING PS3? Weak? The PS3 is packing more than any other console lol Even GAME says that "PlayStation 3 gives you a huge advantage; Blu-Ray. Blu-Rays hold tons more info, giving the PS3 more power and potential - that's why a growing number of titles are exclusive to PS3...". But i'm not hear to argue. Forza 4 will better than GT5 in my opinion, not to say GT5 wasn't good game though. Now I wish to see some proprer Forza 4 gameplay plz :)
