The Most Anticipated Games of 2011
Now that you've seen what games we're looking forward to, it's time to take a look at the ones that you can't wait for! Below is a list of the top ten games that seem like they may be released in 2011, ordered by the number of followers each has.
6. Crysis 2
Crysis 2 puts players in the role of one supersoldier, wielding the combat enhancement technology of the future with Nanosuit 2 as you make the last stand to save humanity from destruction in the urban jungle that is New York City.More Info »
I really wonder if FFXIII-2 will address any of the complaints of the first one. I loved it in ways, but I don't think it has any replay value. It was absolutely beautiful, but to be honest, Crisis Core had more replay value which isn't what I wanted out of such a big game.
No particular order but: Diablo 3 Zelda SS Final Fantasy XIII-2 Mortal combat Duke Nukem Looks like its gonna be a slow year for gaming for me =/
1. The Witcher 2 2. Dragon Age 2 3. Uncharted 3 4. LA Noire 5. Mass Effect 3 6. Gears of War 3 7. Star Wars: The Old Republic
Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, Infamous 2, Motorstorm Apocalypse and Arkham City probably though I still haven't played Arkham Asylum. Yes it's in my "to finish" pile. I think I have to buckle down and NOT buy Gears of War 3. I'll rent it, finish single player and be better off. You know the multiplayer is gonna be a mess, just like the last 2. Seems like it's gonna be a real RPG year, of which I really can't be bothered.
Diablo 3 !!!! but Blizzard will delay it for 3 years (if we are lucky), post many videos and snapshots, we will get tired of the game even before it will be released.
In no particular order and as of Feb. 1: Elder Scrolls V Batman: AC Dragon Age 2 LA Noire Alice: Madness Returns Mass Effect 3 Uncharted 3
I am shocked that Dragon Age 2 is not there? I have already pre ordered. Well I'm still going to enjoy the game :).
1. Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls 3. Dark Souls 4. Dark Souls 5. Dark Souls 6. Dark Souls 7. Dark Souls 8. Dark Souls 9. Dark Souls 10. The Witcher 2
i want them all exclusives and crosses and i shall have them all wonder how much its gonig to cost me
The only reason why I am not saying Battlefield 3 is that I haven't seen anything to have me dieing to get it yet. I want it just because its battlefield, but it has been a long time since a proper sequel. I just hope that it isn't hurt by not being PC exclusive. I do most of my gaming on consoles but certain games just belong on the PC, and this is one of them. Massive battles with joystick supported choppers and planes just hasn't been emulated on the consoles yet. I do see that it is getting special attention on the PC with 64 players and all, so that is good news, but will the maps be designed around 24 players or 64 players? Or tweaked depending on the versions? I just want to know more...
Kill-Freeking-Zone 3, Batman Arkham City, and of course call of duty......NOT!!!....Screw call of duty go killzone and batman ya
TWISTED METAL!!!!!! how could you not think that game deserves to be there? Motorstorm Apocalypse??????
1) ME3 2) Dragon Age 3) Deus Ex 4) Skyrim 5) LA Noire 6) Arkham City 7) XCOM 8) Old Republic (grudgingly) 9) Dark Souls 10) Zelda You'll notice the distinct lack of shooters in there. Yep, that was on purpose.
This is my order: 1. TES:Skyrim 1. DNF 1. ME 3 1. The Witcher 2 1. Deus Ex 3 1. Metal Gear Rising 1. ... Ah NVM I want everything.
Going back to the start of the year, in order would be: 1. Uncharted 3 2. LittleBigPlanet 2 3. Mass Effect 3 4. Diablo III 5. InFamous 2 6. The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim 7. Deus Ex 8. Zelda: Skyward Sword 9. Portal 2 10. The Witcher 2 LBP2 certainly didn't dissapoint. Most years I have trouble comprising a top 10, this year it is easy to do 20. Surely it'll be one of if not the best years in gaming yet.
Journey, Child of Eden, Portal 2, and The Last Guardian have been on my own "most anticipated" list since I made it back in November. More recently, I've needed to add Radiant Historia and Dark Souls. If I only buy six games from 2011, those would be the six. Well, Tactics Ogre and the Team Ico collection are on the list, too, but as those are remakes/ports, I hesitate to add them. If 2011 is anything like 2010, however, I'll end up purchasing 25 or 26 2011-released games throughout the year, as I did in 2010. :|
I Think For A Moment And It Will Be 1-Metal Gear Rising 2-The Last Guardian 3-Crysis 2 4-The elder Scrolls V : Skyrim 5-Duke Nukem Forever 6-Uncharted 3 7-Risistance 3 8-Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Remake 9-Final Fantasy Versus XIII 10-Ace Combat Assault Horizone
Star Wars: The Old Republic Diablo III Mass Effect 3 Deus Ex : Human Revolution The elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Guild Wars 2
in no order Crysis 2 Battlefield 3 Mortal Kombat Batman Arkham City Mass Effect 3 Uncharted 3 Skyrim
By what arbitrary process of elimination did they narrow this whole list to ten? Somehow they managed to omit almost every game I had in mind.
id have to say: uncharted batman mortal kombat driver San Fransisco test drive unlimited 2 not many but still... there isnt many probably because the BEST games are coming out and its too hard to make lots of awesome games really really really fast. take your time.
the top three for me but switch gears of war with star wars cuz i cant want to see how the story starts out this time and ends :D :D
I'll get Mass Effect 3, Brink and Dead Space 2 for sure. But basically, I'm interested in all games Gamespot listed. Just not sure if and when I'm going to buy them. Also, I think Duke Nukem Forever deserves some credit for finally coming out. As does Tomb Raider for changing it up at just the right time. It might go Uncharted on us, but who says that's a bad thing?
I got pretty excited about Brink, but the delays and other games coming out, helped the excitement wear off. Still hoping it's good.
