@R083R70 I couldn't agree with you more. What passes for commentary on here sometimes totally amazes me.
I pre-orderd Dark Souls and Rage (i pre-orderd Rage 1 year ago) for PS3, my X360 is just tasting dust right now. (most of it because you have to pay for online play, for that money i have a extra game). I have to wait till 7 oktober/october because the Netherlands is always late with games.
Picking up Dark Souls, Batman, and BF3 this month. In November, I'm going to dive right in with Uncharted 3, Ultimate MvC 3, and MW3. I'm a like a squirrel, gathering my nuts for the winter. Rock on gamers! :)
SNESNOSTALGIA2: I am an adult man with a stable job and a stable relationship. I played Demon's Souls for 80+ hours, finished it multiple times. I am looking forward to play Dark Souls for the same amount of time or maybe more. The deaths you call "cheap", are not cheap at all. The game is punishing, extremely punishing. But not cheap. You die only if you make mistakes. If you don't, you don't die. That's what a game should be about. Winning if you are able to play, losing and not completing the game if you aren't able to play. That's the meaning of "game". A game so easy that you simply cannot lose (and lately they are almost ALL like that) is not a game. It's an amusement park. P.S. Oddly enough, I didn't expect a comment like that from someone with that kind of nick. I would have assumed you were an old school gamer. P.P.S. Don't hate, just my opinion :P
fallout & Borderlands had a baby and called it RAGE, so we can all be disappointed for a third time.....

@Yulaw2000 Sadly those kind of tactics by greedy game developers are fast becoming the norm and the ignorant masses blindy ignore their money hungry ways and dribble over the graphics of the latest trendy game being released and rush out to grab a copy, well not me damn it.

You blasphemous knuckle head you dont do that because it degrades Dark Souls from what it really is an epic game. Way to go u imbecil!
Rage is coming out on PC too. Seeing as how it's, you know, a freaking ID game. I would recommend you play it there for the nicest experience. Like BF3, PC was the lead build.
What really sucks is most of these games you can't even really rent because how longs the games are Rage and Dark Souls. . Also NBA 2k 12 is game your going to play for long time untill the next one comes out.
Dark Souls is a day one buy for me. But, i gotta ask, is it me or does the Heist just look a little dated?
Not sure how I feel about this. Letting site visitors know when games are coming out is good, but the narrator of this video was clearly reading press releases from the publishers, essentially making this video one long advertisement. Didn't GS learn from the Kane & Lynch fiasco?
All i wanne know is if Rage will run better on X360 or PS3, because i heard ps3 version would have a game install plus only one blu-ray disc, while X360 got three dvd discs. @gamespot , please give more information about the difference between X360 and ps3 version. Mention it in the review would be nice, thank you.
A co-op shooter that doesn't involve zombies does sound cool, but playing as a criminal doesn't really appeal to me. If it's just all robbers and no cops, I think I'll have to give it a pass. I am actually interested in Spiderman, but definately going to wait for reviews.
Can't wait for R.A.G.E. and NBA 2k12, plus NBA Jam On Fire edition which comes to psn on the 4th and xbla on the 5th for $15. Gonna be a fun week :)
Payday looks super dated.... but all that can be forgiven if the gameplay is super polished and the AI(both friendly and hostile) is tight. I'm pretty dubious though. Interesting concept though.
@fustahman24 I already know, they're copying Fallout 3 (Arks and some weapons, also some enemies), Borderlands (weapons and enemies, graphics) and Doom 3. But still, Rage's quite unique. In my opinion, there's no such thing as "another Apocalyptic shooter", or "another FPS". This is like saying : Battlefield and COD MW3 are the same, but in fact, they're both unique in their own way. DS is actually a good game, but afraid I cannot play it since I don't have either PS3 or Xbox

Played last night, its good. nothing new tho. full of alot of things you seen in other shooter's.
@Yulaw2000 As a PC player we don't have a choice but to buy everything new, so cry me a river that you console players wont be able to access a sewer that means absolutely nothing to the overall story because you bought it used....QQ some more.
