the video looks awesome but the game is going to be like any other mmorpg .. :( If they could make a jedi alcademy kind game that is better and combat would be smoother , that would fking sweet

GTA_GURU 5 pts

hope, the actual gameplay is as gud as dis video ...

sun_rider95 5 pts

dark_k you are an idiot....it is just a game...if you are sating that you are addicted to online play...then you should get a life...or buy one if you like so much spending your money

Fiddlemaster56 5 pts

This video is listed under the Gameplay category. This is not gameplay content....

SuperBladez 5 pts

So couldn't they find a better place where there isn't a lot of people talking in the background?

dark_k 5 pts

I dont see the problem with paying a monthly fee when I know tonnes of people who spend much more money doing other activities atleast with this it lasts a whole month and is virtually unlimited for tha month.

Fededyret 5 pts

Yesterday is saw a couple of videos on IGN with some awesome gameplay videos of the game, with things like the sith warrior and bounty hunter class and much more but i cannot find them on gamestop. A little sad, as it's quite boring looking at so many interviews where they just keep telling you the same things.

skyydragonn 5 pts

@ thos who dislike monthly fee's... how many of you use things like netflicks, or have memberships that require a monthly fee? MMORPG's witha subscription fee are pretty similar, you pay each month for access to the services provided, in MMO terms that includes customer support services (in-game) as well as paying for the development of content that doesn't require an additional payment ( patches and updates) unlike full on expansions that have thier own retail box and price tag. paying a subscription fee for an MMO is no different than paying for any other subscription service. Hell look at things like gametap.com

skyydragonn 5 pts

would have been nice to HEAR THE INTERVIEW instead of a bunch of background noise drowning them out the whole time. Fail video is fail guys sorry :(

Evilnator 8 pts

really annoying background voices... SHUT UP... well i kinda got the part in the end 8classes and 200 hours each?

scphan 5 pts

WOW 8 classes 200hrs of story good luck beating it all

rushisurf 5 pts

This is the worse interview I've ever listened to. Get the microphone closer to the guy for crying out loud. I don't want to listen to all the people in the background.

kiopta1 5 pts

I have never looked forward to playing an MMO before. This game and this developer though has changed that. As much as I hate the "pay to play". I really think this one will be worth it. Not to mention that each class and your choices in those classes can make each character/playthrough a new game for you. There is much more info to put out but so far I think it looks great.

Nezerik 5 pts

I would hate this game if there was a monthly fee. I like it now. IT looks great. But that monthly fee.....

Volkmar 5 pts

@ Saithan. Go check out the Video documentary on voice overs if you want to see gameplay video. That too looks awesome with NPC calling you "my lord" if you are a Sith and "mercenary contract, pfft" if you are a bounty hunter for example.

DeadlyDice17 5 pts

This is going to be great, forget the 80 or nothing WoW.

dg3215 35 pts

Oh and @ saithan you have more than 1600 hours into everquest 2 I feel sorry for you, did you know that there is actually an outside and you can do stuff there like have friends, and maybe if you take a shower even a girlfriend!! Oh but you prolly need to loose like 100 pounds too not to get a girl, just so you can fit into a car.

dg3215 35 pts

Do you people not understand that the monthly fee is in part to maintain the servers and develop new content? Im not saying they do not turn a profit but that is what all companies are in business for. Stop being idiots and just get a job. Also stop crying about kotor 3 this is like kotor 3-6 if not higher, so tired of people making the same stupid posts, you wanna see what kind of game you can pay without a monthly fee go check one out normaly you have to pay real money for good gear then and that gets more expensive than monthly fees.

dsrules123 5 pts

there is a monthly fee! just a way 2 get our money

Shadow_Fire41 5 pts

i hope to god there is no monthly fee.

Holy_Terra 5 pts

Sorry for triple post! sorry but I just read some statements on Gameplay but there is going to be a demo in Cologne in Germany sometime in August (I think it is on the 23rd) and again in Seattle in September so we may get some then

Holy_Terra 5 pts

Sorry for double post but the concept for Star Wars the old republic appeared in October 2008 (I believe) So they should be further forward than 3 classes and a few planets (so far its Hutta, Ord Mantell, Tython and Korriban) even if it is going to be fully voiced (what Im saying is hurry up! need to play this game!)

Holy_Terra 5 pts

cole I actually really like the idea of a MMORPG for star wars but I dont want it to be too expensive like World of Warcraft. However considering theres never been a futuristic RPG in the 21st Century they may keep the price down in order to compete with WoW to try get customers less than £10 a month would be cool considering thats WoW price for 6 months (£60)

colejd 5 pts

They should have made KOTOR 3.

dman688 5 pts

wow it seems like they keep puting out new interviews with the same info we've known for months now. Give us something new to chew on!

jedisouljia 5 pts

people come on bioware is fine they just cant release anything gosh

jedisouljia 5 pts

ok they need to release when it comes out and it better be soon

Saithan 5 pts

Why do people get so excited over these kinds of video's? It isn't gameplay. They can make these trailers as beautiful as they want. Wait till you see gameplay video's before you start drooling ;p And those 1600 hours is if you play all classes on each side? That isn't much : ( I have more hours per character in EQ.

DragonsRAwesome 5 pts

anybody else have trouble hearing the audio?

Decrate 5 pts

wow so to actually see the entire game with all the different sides you have to play over 1600 hours? damn this game is going to take so much of my time. i don't think ill be able to play WoW and this at the same time, cuz then i'd have no life.

enterawesome 5 pts

Holy balls, this game looks awesome!

Armyboy5 21 pts

Coulden't hear what he said...

EG_Ergo_Proxy 5 pts

8 classes around 200 hours of game play with different dialogue for every char and NPC, and different game play for every char. Also the you choice to be good or evil / lightside or darkside.

Decrate 5 pts

8 classes. each class is 200 hours of story? did i hear that right? wow now im excited

Malscyllis 13 pts

ok, i love you Bioware, but can you plz show us some gameplay or more "news".

Divine_Stryph 10 pts

Why is this under the Gameplay tab...? =/

jgb2292 5 pts

we all seek new info but there is NO help for us Padawan learner's ... come on BioWare .we all speak basic . we all hear the same 5 lines each and every week ..SAY SOMETHING NEW OR SHUT UP AND GET ON WITH IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

passon16 5 pts

HOLY HELL EXACTLY NEMESIS! I was starting to doubt myself at this point... They keep saying the whole 300 years after 2700 years before and I've been making posts that that's wrong but it seems they don't want to agree.

Kanoko 5 pts

They've been telling us the same thing over and over again.. none of this is new.

Nemesis4747 5 pts

i wish these developers would get it right, its 3700 years before the movies, not 2700, ive heared em mess it up quite a few times now

lutomboy 5 pts

@Ajspeed_1 no for now its 4 for each side

CyberCurse 5 pts

There's only one game from BioWare that wasn't that great and that was that Sonic game on the DS. Otherwise, BioWare always delivers the hype. Don't be so pessimistic peaople, this game's gonna rock.

Ajspeed_1 5 pts

8 Classes? does that mean that each allegiance in game has all 8 or will there be 4 for each. i wonder

Lozzica 5 pts

Hey everyone -- really sorry about the audio on this one. It was towards the end of the day and my mic had stopped working. I decided to go ahead and do the interview anyway, even if the audio was going to be a little off. We couldn't fix it in editing, so apologies again!
