your right swtor troll LucasArts+bioware+EA=win and what is with your people in the games graphics they are actually better then most it just because one people said how they don't look good and now there are 600 people every vid ranting about them,if they actually took the time to look at the game and stop complaining about it they would see that get games is getting so much more polished then before and the graphics are improving.

i don't see why would one think that bioware + ea = win. if anything, it's rather a recipe for disaster.

I don't think you all understand. This is Bioware. They make amazing games. They have the funding through EA to produce an great game that will last. Do I think its a WOW killer? No, Do I think it will compete on a strong level? Yes. For those that think this game will Bomb, please state your reasoning. So we can discuss.

@Kimjongkilla You need socialize more. It's called join the MMO world buddy. Love the way this game looks and plays. I wish I was in beta. SWTOR will become the greatest MMORPG ever made. So much work put into it.

Okay... i have a huge problem w/ this game and now im going to rant about it. When i saw the cinematic trailer i was soo hiped. i thought " this is awesome, Biowares going to make a KotOR 3 it'll be like a star wars version of mass effect, but no. its just some poorly done MMO with Sh*t graphics only for the PC. Im disappointed in you bioware.

Am I the only one disenchanted with the graphics? The Star Wars franchise is awesome, and the games following is huge, but gameplay graphics/animations are choppy,bouncy and ... ugly in a sense. I haven't seen live game on my screen but these videos have turned me off of the game? Just my thoughts. Concept looks great but in 2011/2012, graphics should be a lot better.

RJWidowmaker, how about you just read the comment again, I just mentioned that this game would be better if it was singleplayer game with mmo-typed world. I didnt say anything about it being bad or crappy game. Goddam you fanatic and rude fanboys ruin the idea of these comment options

@lordofblades4 yes it has PVE...the biggest draw to this game is that it may be the first MMO with large very personal stories for each class and location.

I liked the interview... the reporter seemed nervous to me?? maybe excited.. not sure. I am reading through the comments and alot have to say about graphics. Well.. seems to me atm servers with smooth graphics and killer texture sizes are monster servers OR glared lighting...OR dated graphics? Can we really know without examining each texture for their size? Will we really be satisfied until the game matches VR or Even Movie quality? Machines today such as mine handle what's thrown, even 3D, but next and soon ''I will need another upgrade." I believe PC's are still in their infancy. I say thank you Bioware for making it playable and giving me hopefully some options, so I can plan to upgrade to your next big thing. BTW I am a star wars fan. AND I much am looking forward to this release!

@Albaficas Different opinions. Imo Aion's and Tera's graphic styles look far too anime for my tastes. I think what many people dislike is the art style of SWTOR, which i think looks fine, not great, but just fine. Well sounds interesting. Ive always liked pvp.

Their marketing team is learning. Fill the video with tons of death and explosions instead of the boring combat gameplay.

they need to fix the armor.. its mostly just skin tight, generic looking models but hell this game looks fun!

I don't mind the marginal graphics and the effects look fine. I do still have a problem with the really stiff, robotic character movements. Sort of resembles a bad cartoon to me. Even that isn't a deal breaker though as long as the game is fun. I sincerely hope it is because i want this game to succeed.

Played WoW for over 4 and a half years and I am just burnt out on the game. I tried Rift, but it felt too much like WoW and I've been trying LOTRO because it's free, but it's not very good. This game however looks pretty fun and most importantly it looks as far away from WoW as you can get in terms of game play and how it feels. JMO. I'm not going to spend money on a game that feels like WoW. What's the point right? The more info that is released the more we'll see if I get it, but I need a change.

lol @ ugly graphics? what MMO looks better?? I'm not a MMO player, but i've never seen footage of a MMO game that's looked better than this, ever.

Animations still look pretty terrible, and overall ugly graphics... Find it funny how some people defending the graphics, saying it can't look great 'cause it's an mmo and needs to be playable for the masses, last I checked, graphics settings were there just for that reason. SC2 on lowest = my computer idling, on ultra, it maxes my gpu.

The game is starting to look very polished! Hope they can keep up the good work and release this thing before the end of the year. To all the people still complaining about the graphics look at the newer close up footage, the detail is way better than most mmo's to date. Don't believe me look at some comparison videos that are already out on youtube.

@kenmanius Ah yes MMO's can do High Quality Graphics. The Rift Runs very nice High End Graphics atm and so does Aion. The lower the specs so people who can run it :AKA people who play WOW on low end systems. It's a nice art style atm but, I am hoping they have some high end textures cause atm it looks a bit like a cartoon. Other factors I am cautious on is it being Bioware 1st MMO. Dynamic Voice Quests don't mean anything if it ends up beings 10 min of dialog to just go kill X and Bring back X to Y. @ ResidnetEvil777 Has nothing to do with Runing Smooth. Rift runs high end graphics and it's one of the best Launches of MMO's in a long time. WOW's launch was not even that stable.

The guy said all the right things... 1. PvP to level? Check 2. Strong matchmaking system? Check 3. PvP loot and rewards? Check 4. Encourage teamwork and community building? Check We've heard all this before from lots of developers, but I remain cautiously optimistic.

He says 2011 at the end. I'm hoping they can optimize some things or that they were just playing on a crappy machine, because that 15 fps looks really bad. The overall style is nice, but I can tell already my comp won't handle it by a mile.

guys he says that its coming out 20 ??? cant hear what he says.. the game is realy good. espacially if you have seen the Taral flashpoint quest, you propably got a really good taste how is the work. at least for pvp.. Graphics incterface gameplay and etc..!! a small taste with a really good flavor!!

Objective based pvp, nothing new. Battlegrounds anyone ? It has been done before over and over again.

Am I the only one that's excited they aren't trying to sell the game on graphics? That means they might focus more on game-play unlike past "wow-killers"

TOR looks interesting, and I will play it. Guild Wars 2 on the other hand looks even more interesting, and I most certainly will be playing it.

Idk why everyone is biatching about the graphics, they look decent with a nice art style. Gotta remember it's an MMO so they want to appeal to the masses who don't have super computers AND to help the world run smoother.

The graphics may look dated, but remember this is a PC game and not everyone has a PC that can run something visually stunning smoothy.

Yeah, mmo's can't do high graphic quality especially if they want a lot of people to be able to run it. And mmo's are processor intensive, which is why wow chugs down in Dalaran even on quad cores. Mostly cuz of the increase of animations on people's weapons and armor from the expansions.

Still cant wait till this out, Though I still wish the graphics looked better then what KOTOR2 looked ( and Kotor1~ 2 graphics remind me of clay people), other then more polygons the graphics like like something from 5 years ago.

Why cant they make Star Wars look more violent like that scene that Luke Skywalker lost his arm?

I really think it's odd to complain about graphics. Then again I've been playing games for a long time so anything these days looks amazing. Really, it matters to me if the game is fun.
