I would watch what you say about making fun of an Irish accent lest you be smoted by one. Danny O'Dwyer is Irish. The big round thing we live in, you know the one that you see when you are on the Halo ring, yeah, that's called Earth. On earth, we have little islands on them with people, and sometimes the people sound different when they talk, go figure. Learn to accept others and their differences.
I tend to keep my volume low so as not to disturb others -- I can barely understand most of what he is saying. I had to turn it way up and keep rewinding to get some of the stuff he was saying. I have no problem with the way he talks, but I would expect a narration in english to be as clear as possible. They should have had someone else do the review or have done a check on this video better after recording. These people do get paid to do a job. I don't think some of the comments about the review "being hard to understand" are unwarranted. You can blame Gamespot for that and the quality control/editing. Any hateful comments towards an individual based on how he sounds when he talks, however, are of course, not welcome here, I would hope. Wouldn't you make darn sure the video was able to be understood extremely well? Especially with this medium it's presented in. There's nothing to do but listen, with no lips or face to match the speech, no less.
I'm sorry.. but half of the comments below are actually fairly insulting. I understood it just fine, grow up.
dunno what you lot a moaning about, yeah he's got an accent and maybe even a lisp, but if you can't understand what he is saying you should maybe give your ears a clean out. I understood everything he said.
I really don't see how you can put a DLC and some handheld games in the same category of release as a AAA title that has a massive pedigree.... but hey sure maybe someones out there pining for that new street fighter like i'm for DE:HR. + i'm not saying a guy with a lisp AND an accent can't work at gamespot just maybe don't have him record the voice work? some of the things he said melded into a shkth type sound.
Also, who here would like to see Dice produce a Zombie shooter to compete with MW's zombie game modes? Perhaps one built on the Frostbite 2 engine? Mmmm...
@The_G_S No, bullets could travel through space just fine (even better than on Earth, actually). You just can't SHOOT standard firearms in space because there's no oxygen to ignite the primer/powder in the shell cartridges.
I have to agree. I could not understand what the person in the video was saying often. Is this in error?
@QuiCkz_Alex first you say "Deus Ex at midnight, can't wait" then you say "Nothing for me". you're a pretty confusing guy.
Ill get Dues Ex eventually, would be nice to have the old zombie maps too, but having a new quality 3ds game will be sweet that i cant pass up
Map packs come out on the 360 first because microsoft pays for exclusivity rights, it encourages people to buy the 360 version of a multiplatform game
I hate how Activision puts out crap for the 360 and PC first, then 3 months later, it come out on PS3. It's just a stupid way to build up hype and make as much cash as they can for a money-crazed company. Anyway, Rezurrection I might get because all I care about is zombies, but like I said, it'll probably come out a month after MW3, so screw that :P. Deus Ex just looks amazing and I'll probably become nocturnal playing the game :D. Finally, I laughed at the narrater when he said "Deus Ex." I thought he said "bad sex" lol.
if deus ex doesnt knock zumba off the top spot in the uk i might just move to another country.......
deus ex will keep me going until dead island, dead island will keep me going until gears 3, gears 3 will keep me going and going and going!
Damn, I wish every game had the upload to YouTube feature. Although then you couldn't have any commentary, but eh, who cares.
