- Nov 7, 2012 3:22 pm GMTNot buying anything with your name on it ever again. SFXT was a good game, but your service sucks. Netherrealm is American, makes good on their promises, and produces better games. I didn't see 12 disc locked characters in MK!

- Nov 7, 2012 4:21 pm GMTExcept the vita version was supposed to unlock DLC for ps3....and still isn't fixed.

been there, done that.
not working! - Nov 7, 2012 8:28 pm GMTStrange.
Guess you guys might as well follow the steps carefully from an already posted thread on how to get a proper code and download from Capcom themselves. I mean unless you folks want to shell out a dime for something that is already inside the disc/cart? To this day, the game is great however their business tactics on using profit for something that you already paid for nearly destroyed this game to oblivion.
I would not mind a free update Time Release Character arcade style just to keep on playing, like Tag 2 did. Of course if they release the game with all the characters already unlocked, folks would be complaining about lack of secrets and replay value. Actually depends which fighting game is worth revisiting, Not sure about the reactions if the characters should be unlock via button codes old school style.

Problem is, Capcom is not responding to emails even when their instructions have been followed correctly. They've even stated that it will all be fixed by November 6th but so far, it has not. They've failed to deliver and gamers who've bought the game on release day demand a solution to this problem. - Nov 7, 2012 10:45 pm GMTI have so much buyer's remorse for this. I should have used my money for something better to be honest, the game itself is decent, but my god, Capcom just wants you to pay for every little thing that they can get away with.

They released the 'Vanilla' (I guess I could call it that) with locked characters because they wanted them to be released as if it was an expansion to the 'Vanilla" version. Well it failed because people searched the disc dry of content anyways. So hence the complaining of consumers.

Have you also tried bringing the game back along with the code back to where you bought it and told them that the code doesn't work? That happened to me with Ghost of Sparta PSP and Classic Scorpion costume for Mortal Kombat redeem codes before.
Either way, keep sending emails to Capcom and they should respond in days or weeks. Sometimes it takes time to respond and not as fast as one hoped. Still, try the one I mentioned while sending more emails to Capcom. Although do not send it hourly. Send another one in two days and again in two more days and etc..

Rasputin77 is a friend to everybody. - Nov 8, 2012 6:46 pm GMTYou don't need to be American to have good PR with your fighting games. Case in point: Harada/Namco and Tekken, Sega and the new VF5.

Unfortunately, there are whiners complaining about the locked characters at the Tag 2 board, even though Harada stressed this way, way before the game was released that if the extra characters are going to be locked in that game, then they will be unlock free of charge. Nobody complained much about it except praising for the idea. After release, whiners gonna whine.
